Love the soft, curious moments of them sharing about their own cultures, biology, etc. I do think Rocky would have a field day when Grace explains skin as a very sensitive and permeable organ with lots of stuff packed tight on the surface. Since goosebumps are very tactile, I thought Rocky would enjoy hearing those.

Also, bonus.

Because it is endlessly entertaining to me to consider how deep in the trenches Rocky is.

I just need more Species Swap AU, especially with Grockadrian. I decided to buckle down and learn lineart and digital art in general because I have visions of Grockadrian haunting me. I'm not joking.

Things happened in reverse so Grace and Rocky returned to Earth. The Eridian equivalent of the beatles were sent to Erid. Grace survived radiation because he refused to leave his taumoeba lab.

How is Grace not being experimented on by the government you ask? I like to believe between Grace, Rocky and Adrian's intelligence they can figure it out. I was thinking if they get videos of Grace out there to the public, and how he saved Earth, Grace would be safe. Rocky could also come up with some story that if Grace is hurt, the Eridians would bomb the shit out of Earth. Besides being a savior, there's no way Earth wouldn't fall in love with Grace immediately.

I meant to make Rocky and Adrian look a little older. Rocky is 34 here and Adrian is what in their 40s(??) because of time dilation. Adrian is a leading researcher in biotechnology.

Grace is based on yellow calcite. I'm obsessed with the idea of Eridian Grace. It gives me cute aggression.

TO ME, Adrian is a big Words of Affirmation giver, and it’s always very poised and poetic ~ BUT it’s only reserved for their loved ones so it’s very very special :’) otherwise Adrian has the eridian equivalent of RBF.

Adrian is just a littttttle taller than Grace … them being similar heights makes me laugh like damn that Little Rock has a type 😭

My Mate, and The Human They Didn't Want

Adrian frantically researched what humans like so that's why Grace got plushies and a ball. Because all humans like soft things and sports with balls, right?? Grace avoided sports on earth, but yknow what he might try on Erid. Imagine a bunch of Eridians learning to play soccer. And Grace asked for Cheese Puffs so Adrian made miracles happen. You should know, Adrian has a matching pair of Eridian jewelry.

So I was thinking that we put paws on our pet stuff so would Eridians put human handprints on Grace's? They probably think Grace's hands are soft and cute, the way we love cat beans. I know it's been done before but the "dad with the cat he didn't want" idea is so cute.
