considering how much damage Authors Being Too Online has done to human civilization i think if you become a successful critically acclaimed author you either need to be so off the grid that no one knows what you look like or you need to take the jeff vandermeer route and behave as if you aren't even famous just post out of focus pictures of birds you saw in your backyard

He can see for miles into the still water.
