Why isn’t it about the value for your customers and making sure your workers are getting paid fair wages so they don’t have to be on welfare? President Obama issues historic declaration for transgender bathroom rights in schools

The White House is expected to issue a sweeping guidance Friday to the nation’s public schools mandating they take immediate steps to allow students to use whichever bathroom they feel best corresponds to their gender identity. If school districts refuse, they could face real consequences.

Update: It just got better. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has ruled that ACA health care providers must provide coverage — including medical services related to gender reassignment — to transgender individuals. This news, like this morning’s declaration, is pretty damn groundbreaking.

This story was different actually??? And even better??? The girl, Brooklyn Andracke, used to wave at the truck every thursday and the trashman waved her back. It was a very important to her to do it every week. It was HER birthday, and she decided that she wanted to share her birthday cake with the trashman. She also wanted to meet her hero, whose name is Delvar Dopson.

The girl’s mother thanked Delvar for his work and explained to him how important it is for Brooklyn to wave at him every thursday. He was pretty surprised but he admitted that every time he drove near the house he hoped that the girl would wave at him. That’s not the end of the story though. Next week Delvar had a surprise for the little girl.

He brought her a bunch of amazing birthday gifts!

They both got quite popular, and Delvar is getting a lot of thank you messages from trashmen from all over the world for representing them in such a good way.

There are 475 delegates at stake in California.

That’s a YUGE amount of delegates. Delegates that Bernie Sanders needs.

Californians, PLEASE make sure you are registered to vote as “Democrat” or “no party preference” by May 23rd so you can vote for Bernie!

California has semi-closed primaries — Californians must register as a Democrat or “no party preference” to vote for Bernie.

If you’re independent, make sure you’re registered as ‘no party preference’. There is also an Independent party in California which is NOT eligible to vote for Bernie – only Democrats and ‘no party preference’ voters can vote for Bernie in the primary.

Many counties in California will hold early voting for the Democratic primary between May 9 and June 6, 2016. Contact your county elections office to learn more about early voting in your county.

You can request a mail-in absentee ballot by submitting this form before May 31, 2016.

You can also file an emergency absentee ballot in person at your local county elections office anytime between June 1 and 7, 2016.

If you are a college student not living in your home state, you can vote for Bernie in either your home state or in the state in which you are attending school!

If you are a military voter or a United States citizen living abroad, you are able to request a ballot here.
