God, can you imagine someone from Finland (or wherever) heading to a Midwestern state fair and eating every variety of fried thing imaginable?

05.06.1999 – Worcester Palladium, Worcester, MA, United States
No matter how often you return to this story, there is always something funny in it, although for the heroes of the story it may not have been so funny.
Flake recalled: "After the Worcester show, Nikolai (the tour manager) told me that Till and I were going to be arrested. At first, I thought it was a joke.
But then I saw about eight grim-faced police officers come backstage, and we practically had to beg for a quick, supervised shower. Then they handcuffed us, put us in some kind of dog-catching van, and took us to jail.
There, we waited in a holding cell, which, except for a drain, was completely empty. After we handed over all our personal belongings, including glasses and shoes, and went through a lengthy process of being photographed and fingerprinted, we and the other prisoners were taken to solitary confinement cells, where a bare wooden bunk awaited us. It was not at all what I had imagined after the show.
The other prisoners, some of whom had come straight from the shootout, were drunk and high, making a terrible noise, shouting, and banging. The walls were covered in squeals and moaning so loudly that it was impossible to sleep. The bright neon lights were blinding, and no one knew what time it was.
We later learned that we were lucky they didn't give us a blanket, as the blanket people had to wait until Monday for the magistrate, and we were able to leave again that morning, finally beginning our journey to Canada after a significant delay. Before that, we had to sign a document acknowledging our voluntary attendance at the hearing.
So, three days later, we flew back to Worcester for a bail hearing. The prosecutor demanded $10,000 for each "part," as he put it. If bail hadn't been posted, we would have had to remain in jail until the main trial. Ultimately, our lawyer managed to have our bail revoked, so we were able to leave Worcester after all.
What exact punishment we will ultimately face remains unclear. Everything worked out, but Till and Flake still have to explain at passport control when they arrive in the US exactly why they are dangerous.😉
