their name is jack spratt, formerly john spratt, and yeah theyāre theĀ āour boy jackā jack. they were eventually captured, died, and mechanized a few years after they became famous for (not) slaying a rose red behemoth. yes there is a lot of angst based on this. and also yes they are an absolute bastard.
personality wise theyāre either hyperverbal and chaotic or nonverbal and more subdued. depends on the year. they see ivy and raph as mom figures and the rest of the crew as their big ol family. hangs out with the toy soldier a lot but none of the other mechs have any idea why.
what do you think the most Tragic part of the toy soldiers backstory is, also, which mechanisms has the most Tragic past over all
hm,,, i mean. it's all tragic when you put it together, but i'll say when it was with the old widow. because that's where it learned a lot of things, including things that were Not So Great. specifically the widow making it say things like "i love you" which, it says in its fiction on the mechs website, "it didn't understand." (yet.) so yeah. Not Great. (im currently writing a fic elaborating on this specific thing so look out for that maybe)

So how about that quarantine, huh? This year has been busy, and Iām not super happy with how late this episode is. Unfortunately, uni stuff took precedent, and then quarantine and drastic schedule changes got in the way of other stuff. Hopefully it was worth the way! We have full colour! Half a theme! CIVIL SERVANTS! This is one of my favourite episodes so far!
