which results in the revelation that the long lived races have incorrectly recorded falin's age because they were bad at figuring out tallman's aging especially with the bias they have about short-lived races' maturity

it still doesn't stop people from arguing that it's inherently pedophilic for marcille to date a tallman, while others argue that because she was a half-elf who aged differently from elves so it was fine, and other people who point out that "dude both of these arguments are racist as fuck"

Marcille has a personal beef with a writer who died 200 years ago who accidentally started the “Falin was 14” misinformation, by writing a really popular romance novel obviously based on the Thorden Party where the Falin equivalent was 14.

Marcille is annoyed about the writer accidentally fueling popular misconceptions, but she doesn't blame the author for that. Mostly, she's mad that he got everyone's personalites wrong. The Falin was both too pure and too sassy, the Senshi was a sinister corruptive force, the Chilchuck was a halffoot racist stereotype, and basically everyone was made "normal" in appealing ways.

Before he died, the author argued that the characters aren't literally supposed to be the historical figures they're loosely based on. Marcille points out that the Senshi is named "Izganda," and he copied Chilchucks family situation, and the intraparty relationships are obviously based on what Chilchuck described in his memoir.

Marcille thinks the number of people who think Falin was 14 validates her beef with the dead author. Unfortunately, that and similar misconceptions weren't widespread until a few decades after the author died, so she never got to rub his face in it.

I love this 'Ralsei being a tree/root system under the hometown' theory. It does make sense a lot to me especially how he "teleported' between Dark Worlds and such.
