i do love al-hashimi's dedication to pronouncing everyone's name correctly (and words in other languages in general, due to how she pronounced medicines sans frontières). she's been doing it with mohan and santos this whole time, but we saw it with javadi this episode too, and i think it's such a neat bit of characterization to have her so dedicated to getting everyone's name right

Imagine there's a person in your own family who hates you so bad that wants you dead, and the only way to protect yourself is runway from home with nothing more than the clothes on your back that you are wearing at that moment. Now desperate and helpless in a place she doesn't know, the realization of everything comes to her. Of course she gets confused and holds on to the only hope she has, offering herself as a house keeper to the strangers she meets. And for this, she needs to prove herself useful so that they will let her live there, she needs to prove herself a good addition to the family or she will have to live in the forest. She is not boring because she started cleaning and cooking as soon as she found a dirty house, she wants to live and to live she has to prove herself useful
