So where do I begin, other than it is just such an odd character introduction. Of course fitting for the game Deltarune, but there have been deliberate choices made to fill these 40 seconds that make it so strange.
As Tenna's line from before the cut scene plays suggests, it's suppose to be a recording played from a VHS which explains the video glitches/ chromatic abbreviation. But it does not explain why the production value is so low.
It's very confusing too, with repeating phrases and words that don't seem to belong? For example the excessive use of Coming and straight from your house. The kIng of only. Only... what?
I'm jumping ahead here as I need this as basis why I believe the recording comes from the time when Spamton collaborated with Tenna: This little scene here:
Say it with him, folks!
The small, bouncy, blue Tenna next to the talking, bigger, red Tenna. I'm not the first one to point this out but it looks like a cheap edit, where the blue Tenna is just a png moved around, covering something up. I believe that something is Spamton. The hand position here? So odd, and convenient at the height where Spam's nose would be. Together with the line, say it with him, folks - Tenna point's at his smaller version for this. But he is the only one talking here, as the following line is just Tenna's voice again. So why not say "say it with me, folks" instead?
There is technically a second voice, which is higher in pitch and only used in Coming straight from YOUR house and Coming [x2]. I actually went into this post thinking it's just Tenna's voice again slightly modified, but I just remembered, this high pitched voice is in spamton's theme??
(For any general similarities, I believe both voices are just Toby's vocal cords, I can't verify this though)
SO if there are two voices why is the end still only Tenna's voice? When he invites us to say it with some unidentified him.
Moving on: My thoughts about Feacher at the beginning were; huh that's funny, someone can't spell right, but half a day later I thought to myself?? Wait since when can't Tenna spell right? Or Spamton? There are characters, like Susie or Jackenstein where we repeatedly get to see their spelling is off. It's an endearing character trait, but for Tenna I can't recall even one instance where this happens. Or even with Spamton's normal, non-bracketed text. He does make typing mistakes and may exchange a letter for a number. But his spelling is accurate.
So what's up with Feacher?? Well before this line feature is already used: It's now time for our feature presentation. This repetition is odd on it's own. So then I thought what if it didn't use to be there on it's own? What if it used to say was:
It's now time for our feature presentation. Featuring .... [a special guest?] Maybe: featuring Spamton G. Spamton?
Moving on to the next line: Coming straight from your house[x2]. The first line is said with the high pitched voice, followed by Tenna's voice repeating the same line along with this strange imagery of some Tenna leaving a brick "house". Followd by two houses facing each other with two tenna's trying to meet in the middle.
The mirrored composition feels so off! But the imagery of two meeting in the middle is what sticks with me the most here. And I feel like originally there was only one Tenna meeting someone else.
After that comes the line He's the one (Coming!), coming in the high pitched voice again. Sorry I have nothing to say about that other than I'm hearing a sexual joke here ever since my first play through. Make with this whatever you want.
But strangely when Coming is said in the upper right corner this house video excerpt comes up. It's just oddly unfitting, the coming phrase isn't doesn't even match with the time when the house animation played previously, so why is it shown for the coming part?? I can only assume something else was displayed in that corner and this clip is just there to cover it up.
(To have 1 2 3 4 5 as a visual for the one is so dull and stupid I love it)
The king of only, starts with The only.
The only is barely stressed and there should be something following it with that weak emphasis but that something never comes. I'd really like to know what this line originally used to say.
This is the same weird hand pose from the say it with him, folks -part btw. Complete with the same stiff movement from the cutout! The one that I like to imagine is a cover up for Spamton.
Next scene shows us groovy Tenna with sunglasses on, I can't remember if he wears any kind of glasses anywhere else so that's pretty cool. Of course it's silly to wear them in the first place if you don't have any eyes to wear them for.
Then he is covered up with blue slime falling from the ceiling, he melts into a blue puddle and a Pipis bounces out of it, absorbing the remaining puddle. (typing this out feels iffy - how the fuck are Pipis made? What are Pipis?!).
Of course he's NEVER glooby! I'm not going much into the potential meaning of glooby but Tenna admits he is glooby sometimes during his final fight after taking more than 23 turns. It's all in the wiki if you'd like to read it.
Anyway the Pipis is undoubtedly an item that stands for Tenna's connection to Spamton. And the clam being shot by 4, than 4 additional Tenna arms is symbolically demonstrating a strong resentment towards his relation with Spam. As you should know Tenna actually values his Pipis dearly, even though it's hidden in a closet.
ACTUALLY the last 4 are unique guns?? One is some kind of taser or something? WHAT? How often did they record Tenna to get this edit done?
This is also the very first sight of his red suit. Everything before was some mono-colored fill. Implying to me these recorded arms are more recent than all other Tenna depictions in this video. That's because I like to believe Tenna used to look different back in the day. He started wearing the red suit during the big shot era together with Spamton. Just like how it's suggested Tenna didn't have a nose originally; the fake Mikes mention they keep sorting his nose drawer, how the Tenna sphinx loses its nose and this post from @kammizstuff also gives plenty hints that he stole Spamton's look and his nose isn't naturally part of his face.
This is the only render that I believe shows us his original appearance, hence why all other Tenna appearances are covered mono-colored.
In the next scene there is a Asriel suddenly freaking out in front of a screen. I can't recall but it feels like that was mentioned somewhere? Asriel being shocked from seeing something online or so? Idk why it's in the Feature Presentation other than to have these lines rhyme:

For the last part there are several nice details in here. Most obvious is Tenna's full body and name reveal. All the unique text animations are also very lovely. But I'd like to give special attention to the little TV Screen in the corner:
"TV" is transforming into his Mouth and Nose. Which is just really cute.
But I actually noticed something else about it around my fourth play through: The diagonal reflection line? A reflection like that doesn't even make sense on neither a flat nor curved surface and I think that's intentional.
I fear Tenna's prophecy was teased here.
Conclusion
Overall no matter how you look at this video clip it's not farfetched to say for an in-universe presentation it's trashy and fails to communicate who Tenna is and what makes him special. OF course Toby did an excellent job creating this trashy vibe and giving us weird imagery to gnaw on.
Much of the video reminds me of when I created my first video edits as a child, putting clips and ideas together while having very little experience with the craft and little vision for what works well. But I barely cared that it's shitty! I just created something where there was nothing prior, and that's exciting! However this excitement hinders you to redo stuff because who knows if you can ever create something so cool again? (You definitely can, it's called learning from your mistakes)
So this is my head cannon; I believe the original version was mostly directed by Spamton, made with some video editing software, green screens and 3D technology. Technology that Tenna has very little knowledge of.
Making this video was part of a deal with Tenna to make him big - but the scammer that Spamton is he didn't really know how to create such an clip in the first place and rolled with whatever half finished stuff came out of it.
After Spamton left TV World, he was edited out of the video, making the whole sequence even weirder, broken and nonsensical.
Why edit him out instead of recreating it? Because despite the lacking quality of Spamton's original intro, Tenna has sentimental value towards it or genuinely thinks it was a great feature presentation and he won't be able to make something greater.
He wanted to cut all ties with his former partner and this is how it came to be this mess.

Realizing that they both want a war between Heaven and Hell, and the downfall of the Hotel; Lute and the Vees strike a deal, with her helping them kidnap and murder Abel.
Vox, Velvette, and Valentino will get the glory of killing the First Man’s son: the new leader of the Exorcists, plus (at least temporary) immunity from Exterminations. Lute will get Abel out of the way, and have the perfect pretext for an all-out assault on Hell.
Neither party counts on the First Sinner showing up to save his little brother.
I've actually been working on my own Cain AU so this is a great time to test some ideas out a little and hopefully I'll make my own Ask Tumblr if this AU very soon when I decide what I want for my AU exactly.
Anyway, here's a little something I cooked up so I hope you like it and enjoy!

The First Sinner to His First Winner
Abel was humming.
He always hummed when he felt good, and today, for once, he did. The Exorcists' barracks were quieter than usual with heavenly sunlight pooling across polished marble. His new uniform sat a little crooked on him, the plume on his hat bouncing as he walked, but he didn't mind too much, he liked the weight of responsibility. It felt like… growth. Like he was becoming someone important.
Emily had even told him earlier, "You're doing well, Commander."
He had blushed so hard his hat almost fell off.
Abel clutched the folder of training reforms to his chest and pushed open the door to the storage hall. "Lute? I need your signature on-"
The lights went out... And so did his vision.
When he woke, he had no idea where he was as whatever this place is didn’t look like a structure in heaven.
A split second later something cold and metallic pressed against his throat.
"Hello, sunshine."
Vox's voice oozed out behind him like static sludge, smooth and poisonous. His screen-face flickered to life, bathing Abel in cyan.
Lute stepped out behind him, her golden prosthetic glinting. "Took you long enough, hotshot," she hissed, then turned her attention to the Vees. "The kid practically walked into my arms."
Abel's heart slammed. "L-Lieutenant? What's-"
A heavy hand clamped over his mouth. Arms, far too many arms, wrapped around his torso and wings. Valentino leaned down, breath sugar-sweet and venomous.
"Relax, estimado," he purred. "This won’t take long. And it'll make us all so famous."
Velvette twirled around him, phone camera already recording. "Hashtag HeavenFalls, baby! Do you fools know how many views we’re gonna get?! How many we're ALREADY GETTING??? Best. Stream. YET."
Abel struggled, Valentino 'graciously' allowing him to speak. "Why- why are you doing this?! I haven't hurt anyone! I-I'm trying to do better than Dad, I-"
Lute scoffed. "Exactly. That’s the problem."
She walked up to him, tilting her head. Her eyes (pale, furious and fanatical) stared into him through her cracked mask... One that she promptly took off to look the kid dead in the eyes. "You're weak. A failure. An embarrassment to Adam's legacy. You should never have been Commander."
"That wasn't my decision-" Abel gasped against the dagger still against his throat.
"And now?" Lute smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. "Now you're the perfect martyr. Poor sweet little Abel murdered by these filthy sinners. Imagine the outrage. Imagine the fury. Imagine Heaven coming down on Hell with no restraints, no delays-"
"-and no pesky Hotel in the way," Vox finished. "We all get what we want."
Velvette leaned in. "And we get clout. Like, an ungodly amount, ironically enough."
Valentino couldn't help but stare at the dagger with hearts on the handle that Vox so politely gave back to Valentino, giving him the honor of finishing the job, its blade gleaming in the faint light of the Pride Ring's everlasting red sky. "Let's get this over with. I've got shoots tonight."
Abel's breath hitched. "Please… don't… I just want to do good…"
Lute's face twisted. "You sound nothing like him."
"H-Huh?" Abel stared at her in confusion.
"Adam." Her voice cracked like a snapped bone. "He would have never said something so weak. Never. He was confident and strong and he- he-"
She shut her eyes, swallowed the tremble, and hardened again.
"It doesn't matter. You're always going to be his greatest disappointment."
Valentino raised the dagger and Abel's eyes burned.
"You're wrong," he whispered. "Dad wasn’t disappointed in me. Not like you think."
Vox rolled his eyes. "How touching. End him."
The dagger came down-
-And the world trembled. A hellshake. Something the Vees nor Lute ever experienced, almost losing their balance... Though they soon wished it was an actual hellshake then what it actually was.
The floorboards suddenly split. The floorboards groaned. The shadows under Abel rippled like black water.
Valentino froze mid-strike. "What the-"
Something creaked, and it was huge: a root. One thick, dark, jagged like a wooden serpent. It tore through the floor, slamming into the underside of Valentino's wrist, causing the dagger to fly across the room.
"What the hell?!" Velvette yelped, stumbling back.
More roots burst upward, curling around Abel's ankles, waist, and shoulders... But gently. They carefully yanked him out of Valentino's arms like a stolen child.
Vox skittered back, static rising in a panic. "WHAT is that?! That’s not demon magic!"
Lute's eyes widened. "No- no sinner can do this- this isn't-”
The lights shattered, though that didn't matter much in the long run as more roots sprouted from the ground and made more holes in the warehouse (at least Abel thinks it's a warehouse, he's not sure) then there are stars in the sky.
A hooded figure rose from the cracked floor, carried upward by a mass of writhing hellish roots glowing faintly blue at their veins... Though the stranger's midsection glowing and acting like a blue lava lamp did give more light. The very walls bowed inward, as if Hell itself were kneeling to whoever the fuck this was.
The Vees fell silent.
Lute's breath stuttered. "W-Who-?"
The figure stepped forward... Slowly... Heavily... Inevitably...
Seven feet tall, cloaked in black and gold as if he were nobility of hell, ram horns curling like ancient roots (because they probably were), a mask hiding most of his oddly gentle face, a gold almost thorny crown glinting just under the hood, though he pulled the hood back to let his auburn hair loose.
The roots lowered Abel into the man's arms like a fragile thing... Like he was important and far too precious.
Abel’s entire body shook: he knew these arm. He hadn’t felt them in so many millenia, but the memory is as fresh as if he was held so firmly, protectively and lovingly the day before... Even if the last time he was held like so happened when he was fourteen and mere hours before his death. His breath hitched, broke, then poured out in a soft, broken sob.
"…C-Cain?"
Lute staggered back as if struck.
Vox’s screen glitched violently.
Velvette whispered, "Cain? Like… the Cain?"
Valentino hissed, "Bullshit. Cain doesn't actually exist. He's a fairytale. No one, not even Zestial, ever saw him or witnessed his power."
The hooded man looked up. Under the mask, one he took off as mild mockery of Lute and how dramatic she was with her helmet removal (and holy shit, this man was Adam's spitting image, except noticeably younger and a sinner), his golden eyes glowed like molten metal, slit-pupiled, burning with quiet, ancient mourning.
He spoke. His voice was low, deep, impossibly calm.
"Don’t. Try. To anger me more then you already have."
Valentino snarled. "Or what, tough guy? You gonna prune me?"
Every hellborn creature in the radius seemed to hold its breath, mildly offended on Cain's behalf.
Cain didn't blink. "Last warning."
Lute's prosthetic arm shook as she stepped forward, her mask on the floor kicked away with rage. "You- you don't tell ME what to do! I am an Exorcist! I am Heaven's army commander! I- Adam should've- he should've lived- I should have been ME to replace him-!"
Cain slowly turned his head toward her. "You planned to kill my little brother." His voice barely rose above a murmur, yet Vega-bright fury lay beneath every syllable. "You touched him... Tried to hurt him."
Lute's breath hitched. "S-So? He’s- he's a failure in my book! A sinner by proxy- Adam would've wanted-"
Cain's eyes darkened to pitch. "You don't speak for him. You are not him and will NEVER be him, no matter how much you think you knew him."
Abel clung to Cain's chest, voice small and shaking. "She said Dad was disappointed in me…"
Cain rested his clawed hand on Abel's back, gentle as ever in a way only a big brother would know. "Nonsense. He wasn't. He loved you so much. You were his favorite. He wouldn't have traded you for anything, even the Garden of Eden itself."
A heartbeat passed... Then Cain moved, leaving Abel surrounded by roots that ensured his safety.
He didn't step. He vanished.
A root shot from the floor, slamming into Valentino and sending him across the room. Another whipped Vox’s wrist and crashed him into the wall, cracking his screen casing. Velvette shrieked as vines tore her phone from her hand and shattered it into pieces.
Lute swung her sword...
Cain appeared behind her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I should kill you." Lute froze. The hand wasn't even threatening: just firm. A warning that he is holding back an unholy amount of power... Cain's voice dropped to a cold whisper. "But Abel is watching." And that was that. He didn’t give a flying fuck about this random bitch, the only thing on his priority list was his baby brother.
The roots wrapped around her prosthetic arm. It was tight and squeezing, splintering the golden prosthetic into shards.
Lute screeched as the pieces dropped like coins on broken wooden floorboards.
Cain leaned close to her ear. "Come for him again… and Hell itself will bury you alive where you stand, Coward."
Vox scrambled to his feet, static panicked and shrill. "W-We didn't know you are his-"
"Brother," Cain finished. "Mine. The last piece of my family."
Velvette whimpered in horrified realization, "H-Heaven's gonna- gonna come for us if we don't finish the job- Vox, say something you fucking televisor!"
Cain lifted Abel easily, protectively, the roots retreating beneath him like tamed beasts. "You won't touch him again," Cain said simply, almost cold. "Not while I'm still the beating heart of all of hell itself."
Valentino groaned from the rubble, wings half-crushed. "We can make a deal- something- anything-"
Cain's eyes flashed a golden crimson mix. "I don't make deals. Especially not with those who are unworthy of my power nor presence."
The roots surged again.
The Vees, Lute and the entire warehouse was swallowed in a storm of black vines, trapping them, binding them, pinning them to walls and floor immobilized, but alive and trembling.
Abel buried his face in Cain's chest again. "You… you came for me…"
Cain pressed his forehead gently to Abel's hair, voice cracking for the first time in centuries. "I will always come for you."
The ground swallowed them both, roots forming a protective cocoon as they vanished into the safety of Hell's deeper layers, leaving Abel's would-be killers shaking in silence.
And above it all, very very high above, the ancient walls of heaven trembled with a single truth:
Hell had just remembered its king, and Heaven… Heaven would learn to fear him and his protective, loving wrath.

When the turtles are asked to kill a genuinely good person, and they know that they are a good person and have things to live for, what do they do? Do they push aside emotions and do the job or do they have moral and ethical standards as to who they kill?
Also does Leo still like unicorns?
In my AU because when the turtles were created there was a flaw in the mutation giving them a little more turtle DNA and making them more hostile period. Like animals and humans they have a “fight or flight response” or “predator mode” (I know that’s cringe I couldn’t think of a better name for it) where they lose a good portion of there human intelligence and focus solely on killing or protecting a better thing to call it is a “flow state” they can be strapped out of this “flow state” by people they care about and can never hurt someone they care about in this “flow state”(just saved y’all from SO MUCH angst) in the flow state they brothers could definitely kill someone in a frenzy but 95% of the time the brothers aren’t in the “flow state” during hits so if they got in hit on an actual good genuine person, they would probably just decline. The turtles don’t like to kill for absolutely no reason mostly crooks they could fall into the antihero category on a good day but since they actually crave violence, the reasons for killing people is more of a really weak excuse.
Sneaking back to throw this here as well. I did this animatic and posted it on my YouTube a week or so ago cause funny TV man has me tightly gripped in his large gloved hand.
