Scarves & Coffee is BACK!!

It is with great pleasure I am here to announce that SCARVES & COFFEE is BACK after all these years!!

The website went down due to my lack of time and ability to stop the hackers, but at the 11th hour the kindness of a stranger to me offered to take the whole site over. Not only that, this wonderful person has written their own code so not only will the site be maintained, it will also be IMPROVED over time!!

So without further ado, I would like to introduce you to and officially hand over the reins to Atlas :)

On a personal note, I would like to thank my original co-founders Jamie and Jordyn for all the late nights we spent getting the site up and running, the authors who contributed their amazing talents (the site would really be nothing without you!), of course the committed readers, and an extra big special thank you to all the lovely people who donated over the years to help keep the site running.

It was a pleasure running the site for you for all those years, and I am just so very thankful Atlas has come on board to bring Scarves & Coffee back to life, so you can all continue to enjoy the thousands of Klaine stories for many years to come!

Hi everyone,

I'd like to apologise for the sites Scarves & Coffee, It Could Happen and Sebklaine being neglected. I simply don't have the time to maintain them like I once did and as a result you have all been experiencing denied access issues and unanswered emails.

I've fixed the denied access issue for now.

Moving forward, I am looking to hand the sites over to someone else.

ACITW, Fanworks, and Blanket Permission

Hi! Let me preface this by saying I’m not back, not really.  It’s been a long time, and I know from personal experience as a fan of other authors that long absences can make the heart grow frustrated more than fond, for which I do apologize.  There is a lot in my life that has changed, and a lot of reasons for me stepping back from fandom this past 18 months, but this part of my life – where I found all of you and found myself – is still hugely important to me. I wanted you all to know that, at least. More importantly the reason for my post!  My friend, and former beta for ACITW, has recently told me that there are still a lot of people who are either trying to get in touch with me or looking for permission to write in the ACITW universe. As I don’t check this askbox anymore at this time, and rarely use my old email for those who had it, I’ve obviously been hard to reach.  So what I wanted to do was basically make a post giving blanket permission to anyone to play in the ACITW world, or really the world of any of my stories. Below is more information about that permission, and at the end you can find some ACITW specific info if that is all you are after.

Hello, nonnie. You know, I’ve had a small rash of people unfollowing me, people who have been following me for a while now and read my Kurtbastian stories, and I have a feeling this is the reason why. The thing that bugs me is that quite a few of the people who have decided to unfollow me were people I considered friends. Like, really? Me seeing Darren Criss and actually having a good experience is so offensive to you that you’re going to unfollow me? I mean, people can unfollow me for whatever reason they want, I have no say and it’s not my place to criticize. And if I was blogging hardcore porn and gore, then maybe I’d understand. I’m not slathering his image all over my blog. I think it was five posts at most, not that I need to explain it to anyone. I gave myself a birthday present. I met someone who I’ll admit is problematic. He’s said and done things that I don’t approve of. But I weighed those things against the fact that my life is short. I’ve wanted to see Hedwig in forever, and I’ve always wanted to meet Darren. I wanted to have a positive experience with a person that I once admired and I achieved that. It was actually life affirming in many ways, if for no other reason than I did something that I didn’t think I would be able to do while being ill. I traveled a long distance on my own. I was comfortable enough with myself to see a musical alone. I stood outside for two plus hours, which, lately, I don’t have the stamina to do. (If I can wash the dishes on a given day, it’s time for celebration). I did all of that, I achieved all of those victories, and you can’t be happy for me? Just because I went to see Darren Criss? You know, that’s just really small and petty, and not the unfollowing, but the need to tell me about it. The need to try and make me feel guilty because I did something I enjoyed that forced you away. I only wish that you hadn’t felt the need to tell me this on anon, so that I can be sure to unfollow you, too. That way I won’t risk offending you further by unknowingly reblogging something from you. Sorry if that sounds b*thcy, but there it is.

I’ve been on a personal mission lately to call out every form of cyber-bullying that crosses my dash. Seriously, Nonnie, get a life. Don’t you have better things to do than make someone feel badly about a very positive experience she had recently? Did you need to undermine it like that? Couldn’t you do the gracious thing and just unfollow her without the fuss?

Guess what? You can like multiple pairings in a TV show. You can enjoy actors’ other work from your favorite TV show. You can like more than one TV show. Oh… and it’s just a TV show and a fictitious pairing.

@lady–divine​ was gracious enough to reply to your ask. Thank god you unfollowed her because she doesn’t need people like you to ruin her Tumblr experience. 

Come to think of it, I don’t want followers like you. So if you’re following me, please stop.
