"So you’re going to keep rejecting me, even after I’ve stated my own feelings because you think that’s all you are to me? Just a comfort tool? Are you so afraid of it that even when it’s clearly stated that it’s more than that, you’d rather run from it? Because that won’t make either of us happy in the long run. I’ve said my feelings at this point. I’ve clearly admitted that I’ve fallen for you, and I’ve tried before to suggest that I want something more than this, I’ve even tried to kiss you before, even if it was at a confusing time, the reason I did had very little to do with comfort, and I guess just by saying so I’m declaring it again now, what I want. I’ll give you time to think about what you want, but I can’t do the back and forth. That’s going to make me miserable, which is the opposite of what you want. So decide. Either you let me in, and both of us maybe can give a shot at being happy, or officially and clearly reject me and just tell me that you don’t feel that way for me so I can put a stop to this before I fall even harder for you and get my heart broken if all you are going to do is toy with me. Which, I really don’t think is your intention either, but it’s how it’s turning out regardless." That came out a bit harsher than he meant it to, but he was still upset, and all these emotions had been spinning around inside of him for most of the time that the other had been gone. Now that he was back, he was finally getting to say everything, though it probably would have been better if he’d said it when he wasn’t upset. His expression at least wasn’t as angry as it had been when he’d first started speaking, and he stepped away from the door, turning again towards it, and opening it this time, though once again he paused before stepping through it.
