i desperately need more theo and malia fics CENTRICS
coyote song
malia trying not to like and feel attracted to theo is just so funny to me. there's the coyote connection that makes her want to bond, but there's the fact that he's the new guy that stiles doesn't trust. she tries to be loyal while trying to dismiss theo, shying away and getting aggressive when theo's making his moves on her. but she fails cuz she admitted that he's attractive so she gets all cute and awkward while theo's being motherfucker. it's basically like, ‘i want him but i can't, but he's so hot’ lol

Scott and lydia just wanted to vibe but here comes peter with his revenge plans
In season 2 episode 9 (Party Guessed), Lydia spikes the punch with wolfsbane. (Which is extremely toxic!!!!) It causes everyone at her party to hallucinate, and from what we see, it appears the main characters hallucinate their worst fears.
First we have Allison who hallucinates a strong, competent, and ruthless hunter version of herself who berates her for being weak and then shoots her in the stomach with an arrow.
Then we have Stiles.
He hallucinates his father dressed in black after his mom's funeral, drunk and still drinking with a bottle of Whiskey in his hand. The sheriff blames Stiles for his mom's death, accusing Stiles of killing his mother.
Next we have Jackson hallucinate. He sees his faceless birth parents and then he himself is faceless. He doesn't know who they are or even who he himself is.
And then last we have Scott. This is where I feel like they went with a shallow choice to have as Scott's worst fear.
He hallucinates Allison and the kanima, who we know is Jackson, making out.
Why was this what Scott feared the most? Why did everyone else have something really huge and extremely personal and just really big?
Allison saw her dark side and what she is capable of.
Stiles saw the blame and guilt of his mother's death, and possibly a memory of a drunken sheriff (but that isn't confirmed).
Jackson saw the not knowing of who he truly is as a person and who he came from and the fear of finding out.
But Scott sees Allison getting it on with someone else.
I get that Allison was his first love. I get that in s2 they are having to sneak around and hide their relationship. But of all the things Scott is dealing with, shouldn't he see him losing his humanity? That's what he struggles with and worries about. Honestly, that would have made so much more sense. I just feel his worst fear being afraid of Allison moving on from him is just kind of shallow.
It's also interesting that everyone's hallucinations has them surrounded by party guests watching and acting like nothing is weird or just staring, except for Scott's. I wonder why? Is it to make his stand out?
Obviously I'm not saying Scott himself is shallow. I see this as more the writers trying to make more drama for their forbidden love. But I wish they had gone with his fear of becoming a monster because it seems like that is his worst fear.
Maybe there is a reason for this, but I just felt that his hallucination fell flat.
Did anyone else feel this way?
this was kinda a terrible thing that younger-me spent so much time thinking about. so my theory was that the wolfbane is obviously toxic for all of them, but since scott’s a werewolf, the poison is damaging him physically more than psychologically, like it does normal humans (or, yk, jackson. who, canonically, is affected by yellow wolfbane and not the common kind). stiles and allison are seeing these terrors because the wolfbane doesn’t really hurt them any other way, at least not more than food poisoning would. scott is seeing a vision that makes him angry, desperate and weak, but that it’s not his biggest fear, because the venom is taking a bigger toll on his body and his abilities (smell, hearing, etc.) than it is on his mind/brain.

that's MY emotional support female character from a shitty early 2000's drama!!!
part of me believes stiles hated theo so much (before he actually knew theo was an evil fucking gremlin) because he holds a deep grudge on theo. because theo was ten years old when tara died. he was ten years old, and so was stiles, and stiles’ mom was dying. and as a kid who didn’t REALLY understand that, he probably latched into the only safe haven he knew. his friends. and we know scott and stiles have been friends since forever, and we also know theo was friends with them. but one day, theo raeken just disappeared off the face of earth, and he wasn’t there for him when stiles lost his mom, the way stiles probably wanted to be when theo lost tara
he's got a type and a type's got him :)
never forgive and never forget or whatever stiles' motto was
