Summer Service & Suffering

Two weeks from today, I surrender myself to two of my oldest friends. I have been promised that I will be kept naked, cock caged, until Labor Day. Every morning I'll be taken from my cell and whipped. I will serve them and suffer for them and anyone they care to share me with. The tortures will be extreme. If I serve well and suffer with devotion, I will be crucified on Labor Day by them for the amusement of their guests. I pray that I might have the strength and devotion to endure: naked, humble, obedient, and suffering. I pray that I will be found worthy of the cross.

This is Iceberg, the first white orca whale on earth. Scientists studying a pod of orcas saw his pure white dorsal fin breaking the surface and followed him, thinking that this was a trick of the eye. But Iceberg is the first reported albino killer whale, living in a large pod. Behavioural experts believed that orcas would exile a whale that did not look like the rest of the pod, but since Iceberg was born, his pod has accepted him and he is living a happy and healthy life.

Another Fun Fact: Cheetahs are incredibly nervous animals. One of the (many) reason’s they’re going extinct is that cheetahs are so sensitive and nervous, some of them are literally too nervous to breed. Others will breed, but stress themselves out so much, they’ll lose their cubs. So zoos with breeding programs had to figure out how to make cheetahs comfortable enough to first of all, get laid and secondly - not spazz themselves into miscarrying. So what’d they do? They gave the cheetah’s their very own Service Dogs! The dogs make them feel safe, protected and secure!
