Peninsula Fernandes - Do 16 ao 18 (flui bem)

Incredible compilation that combines a varied assortment of traditional South American musical influences with darker shades of electronica and industrial. The hit/miss ratio would be impressive if it hit the mark even half the time, but it is, in all honesty, mostly unskippable.

More Peninsula Fernandes HERE. And Pakapi deserves a lot of credit for continuing to invest in projects that eschew convention in a meaningful way. Far from a desire to combine influences aimlessly in the name of progress, a project like this succeeds because these styles meld in a way that’s far from arbitrary.
