Pseudopulex and Yutyrannus
Pseudopulex is a Jurassic-Cretaceous flea many times bigger than any modern flea, 50x the size of, say, dog fleas. We think it was adapted to penetrate thick dinosaur skin with a serrated stylet! Yutyrannus is the world's biggest known feathered dinosaur. Hailing from the high-altitude Yixian Formation in China, its fluff at such a large size may be due to the temperate, cool climate it may have experienced.

did you know? deinonychus can have clinical depression
This latenivanatrix briefly dips her feathers in water before preening them, taking a small bath.

simosuchus, muttaburrasaurus
You won’t find this pigeon on the streets of New York City. Meet the Pink-necked Green Pigeon (Treron vernans)! This colorful bird can be found throughout Southeast Asia, where it inhabits forests. It hangs out in small flocks in the treetops, foraging mainly for fruit. Distinguishing males from females isn’t too difficult: Females lack pink necks and are mostly olive-green in color!

I took AP ceramics this year, and I think.. now that my portfolio is in I can actually post these?
my theme was the extinction of dinosaurs and their evolution into birds? I had one other piece, but it wasn’t finished and I think it was thrown away 🥀
the last piece- the archaeopteryx with the feathers- I used real feathers that my friend collected from a rescue she works at, and feathers from my own bird
the nanuqsaurus- the second piece- was supposed to have two other dinosaurs with it, but I wasn’t able to finish those in time. I don’t want to leave it incomplete, so maybe I’ll find a ceramic studio near me that’ll let me just sculpt lol—
these are all just sitting on the floor in my room lol— idk what to do with them
I have so much stuff that I could post, but I’m trying to space it out—
still thinking about the time my bf asked about favourite dinosaurs and my brother said quetzalcoatlus (pterosaur (not a dinosaur)) and my bf said dimetrodon ((synapsid (stem mammal) (went extinct 50 million years before dinosaurs evolved)) and i said crows (bird (dinosaur)) and yet i was judged to be the incorrect one in this scenario
unauthorized fucking thing!!!!!!
(warning: loud chirping throughout)
