Guys I passed by a new statue in town and it is the ugliest fucking thing.

I didn't get a photo and it's not in an area I can get to easily without a car, but picture, like, a brutalist miniature watchtower, levels of gray concrete connected by metal stairs with zero decoration, just flat sides and sharp corners... and on top of this thing is a solid white Jesus with his arms up. The style and material of the Jesus figure doesn't match the concrete tower at all.

What the absolute fuck is this? A monument to police state Christianity?

"But my kind of queer has it worse than your kind of queer". Okay, that's not infighting - unless you're using your problems to try to silence other people when they talk about their problems.

"I'm not just gonna sit and let other queer people be mean to me". Okay, this message is directed at the queer people being mean to you then - unless you're defending yourself by making blanket statements that blame an entire subset of queer people for the actions of individuals.

Saying "stop infighting" doesn't mean "stop defending yourself" or "stop talking about your unique challenges". It means stop judging/excluding/silencing/attacking other queer people who aren't hurting anyone.*

*Someone talking about the unique challenges they face is not hurting you, even if you have it worse. When you see another queer person being hurt by bigotry, regardless of which of you is statistically the bigger target, you do what you can reasonably do to support and protect them, because helping one helps us all. "We're all faggots in the eyes of the state" means that throwing another group of queers under the bus will not save you.

(and then there's the most piss-on-the-poor interpretation: "Don't call me a faggot, OP!" OP is not calling you a faggot. OP is telling you that ruling class bigots think of you as a faggot. When a post on tumblr pisses you off, it's extra important to make sure that you're reading it carefully and not just jumping to conclusions without processing all of the words in front of you. Some positive news: There really WAS a cat summoned for jury duty back in 2010. Turns out the error was quickly corrected and the cat did NOT actually have to travel to the courthouse. But at least we can enjoy the fact that a papereork glitch did once try to give a cat jury duty XD

im so glad other nb/gq bloggers on here have started talking more and more about exorsexism in trans spaces because it truly does make one feel insane. like there's nothing i can even say in a lot of cases because just my being nonbinary makes my testimony disqualified in the minds of exorsexist trans people who run their mouths about "transsexual materialism" and "transgender liberalism" and all the exorsexist stereotypes and tropes they love to throw out. i could explain in detail how profoundly exorsexism has shaped my life and my body and it would not matter to them because they need to have nb/gq trans people as a scapegoat for why everything is so scary. the nonbinary experience of being the gender minority ruining society scapegoat for the gender minority ruining society scapegoat community.

fr, it hasn't happened to me yet, but I've seen nonbinary people told their opinions on transmasc issues don't count because they're not trans men... even if, like I am, they're taking testosterone and going by he/him in circumstances when it's not safe to use they/them or neopronouns.

Very frustrating, very alienating, and I'm sure nonbinary people who are transitioning with estrogen get the same dismissal about trans women's issues that apply to them too. It's so illogical.

Bred all the currently available Palia mounts I wanted and still felt like playing with the ranching system so I bred some sparkly-antlered boovars next.

Not sure how moose antlers would work on something built like a bear, but they're cool-looking. They make great run-along pets. I like to use the sparkly deer antler head piece so we match.

The other ranch animals I keep are pekis, ormuus, and bees, but for those I go with one or two color combos and keep a breeding line of that specific color so that I've still got a ranch full of the prettiest beasties after my favorites get old.

The ormuus are all white with sparkly horns and the bumbles are all blue and iridescent.

The two peki lines are gold+shiny+dense stripes and black+iridescent. I'm trying to start a third line of gray ones. They might look good with dense stripes too.

I did get really ticked off at it when I first tried it out and discovered how animal aging works, lol. I gave up on it and didn't touch it again until the mounts were added.

My breeding lines were my solution for having my favorite, hard-earned animals only last a couple weeks before they get too old to be useful. Still not ideal, but I've come to terms with it.
