She wasn’t bold or striking  In fact she was easily missable.  However when you did unearth her  You’d be astounded. She was a pearl  not a diamond She didn't sparkle  She shimmered Her presence wasn't blinding It was enchanting She wasn't displayed on the high street in some prestige shops window She was worth far more than that She was buried deep in the sea Encased Protected A treasure not a collectors item To be outstanding you don't need to stand out.

I feel comforted in the night when the world is enveloped in this resonant darkness Encased in black velvet Everything just seems soft and not so... Real I like being in the shadows some place I can linger without being scrutinised for everything I do No hot spot light searing my back There's an eerie type of silence No useless words filling up the void Just letting it exist no need to tamper Anyway I like the darkness A warm hug after a long day Promising to return when the light invades The only loyal thing in my life Maybe one day ill be happy.

Euphoria is refreshing but it never stays Happiness is fleeting Which is why it appears I have no attachment to it Sadness lingers It carves its own home inside of you Settles in Snuggles up Nuzzles Nestles Suffocates Your entire being It acquaints itself with every part of your paranoid brain It desires to know everything about you Your fears Your insecurities Your secrets Your madness Yes it exploits them but look! It takes interest in you Spends time with you Studies you Until it is very well acquainted with every single thing that makes life so unbearable for you And then reminds you of each factor Again And  Again And Again Sadness is a lover And a loyal one at that.

okay but waking up in the middle of the night to soft rain and knowing you’ve still got hours to sleep, when you’re toasty warm and comfortable & sleep has made you forget all your worries and responsibilities and u go back to sleep feeling as content as ever

I laugh at the jealousy I felt Of all the things in the world A true friendship is what I crave most Sad isn’t it? To feel alone whilst surrounded by people To miss things you can't even name A life so colourless It blinds me.

You’ve been stumbling for so long you long to walk without a tremble. And you do, for quite a long distance actually but somewhere along the road you start tripping again, and that’s okay. The ground was uneven it was bound to happen and just because it did doesn’t mean you haven’t improved or that this was a waste of your time. It just means new circumstances have occurred and your adapting and sometimes you may not adapt well but that is okay. You’ve done amazing to have come so far and to even face these new challenges. Congratulate yourself, be your own nurturer as well as your trainer.

It’s much easier to love a girl for her looks rather than brain. At least once a pretty girl eventually leaves you’ll be able to get over it and find a new conquest in time, however when a smart girl leaves you’ll spend days on end pondering over the things she taught you and how you’ll never be able to look at the world in the same way again. You’ll never be able to wander in your mind freely without stumbling upon pieces of her hiding in every crevice. You’ll never be the same again for she has carved her name into your soul, she’ll make you a better man but at your own expense. Go for the pretty girl, save yourself the heart break and always go for the pretty girl.
