Bellatrix was feeling the stress of her own parents running around the castle, so much so that she didn’t notice she was rounding a corner and crashed right into somebody. “Watch where you’re going!” She snapped, her eyes narrowing at the figure before her.
Pandora furrowed her brow before widening her stance, to give her short stature the feeling of being immovable even for only a moment. ❝Perhaps, we were simply both in a hurry to get away from the madness that is this Christmas arrangement.❞

“i will admit, I have my nerves.” lily said thinking about her parents who were sitting in the gryffindor common room. there was a war going on and lots of people with mixed statements running around the castle. “i have faith that dumbledore thought this through before he put this plan in action, however. maybe nothing will happen.”
Pandora had her own doubts about the entirety of the situation, but there was still faith held in Dumbledore that most held despite their circumstance. ❝I am sure you’re right. I just can’t shake the ominous feeling of entropy...❞ She sighed and looked off down the hall towards the common room. She knew she couldn’t hide from them forever, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t try. ❝At least it will all be over soon.❞

“ Actually,” Emmeline started as she chose not to bother Pandora with a lot of questions anymore. “ Mine aren’t coming. I’m not sure of Christmas day- probably not, but they’re not coming to get me to Hogsmeade. I’ll be spending time with Lily’s parents probably.”
❝Really?❞ Pandora almost wished that she could switch places with her fellow student, then fel guilty for the very thought shortly afterwards. ❝At least you will have someone to be with. And my parents never take me to Hogsmeade. They prefer taking me to the library.❞

walking slowly, lily loved that everyone’s families were having christmas in the castle. it had easily lightened the mood, and everyone seemed much happier. heading towards the prefect’s office, she turned the last corner and jumped slightly at the sound of a yelp. “no worries,” she said when she saw who it was. “there’s far too many people here in the castle lately that i’ve been jumpy too.”
Pandora sighed at the sight of the Gryffindor. At least she wasn’t one of the parents, especially hers. ❝Yeah, I can’t help but feel that this arrangement is a horrible idea...❞ Then again, she was a bit biased based upon her family expectations and other variables. Pandora grabbed her wand from her pocket and began to fiddle with it out of anxiety. ❝I know it is dangerous out there, but the more people who come here, the higher the probability that something is going to go wrong.❞

he kicked something, anything. it felt like a wall when his toe collided with the solid form, sirius scowling and grumbling all the while. until a voice made him spin, and sirius found himself meeting the eyes of pandora ashwood. for a moment, he said nothing, until he slowly approached and skulked into the space with a huff and a scowl.
Pandora held the curtain out for him, waiting in the uncomfortable yet welcomed silence until he finally joined her. With a sigh, she sank to the floor and hugged her knees, keeping hidden from the outsiders that might peer in her direction. ❝Worst Christmas ever...❞ She looked up to him, talking very quietly. ❝Are they all still in the great hall?❞

‘ bloody – fuck! ’ he snapped as he stormed from the great hall, the sigh of his mother and father cooing around their beloved only son had only worked to irk at him, niggling away at him until he had had enough of barged his way to the freedom of the quieter corridors without a second of warning. ‘ the bloody, fucking arses! ’
Pandora had been hiding in the corner for some time, hoping to all that was magic that her parents would not be able to find her and would simply turn around and go home. They wouldn’t, of course. She peaked out of the curtain as she heard the voice of another displeased student. ❝There’s enough room in the curtains if you feel like sharing.❞

“ Not so happy to see your parents?” Emmeline asked, their eyebrows rosed in curiosity as they faced the blonde. Shrugging their shoulders, they shrugged off the previous words. “ You’re okay though?”
Pandora froze at the question, thankful that another was asked immediately afterwards. ❝I’m fine, really. I just need to get somewhere maybe more private.❞ And by private, of course, she simply meant away from the parents. ❝Have... yours arrived yet?❞

Pandora moved quickly through the halls, keeping her head rather low as she practically jogged. Why did they have to come HERE? She thought to herself, her nerves on full alert as she turned another corner. A yelp sounded as she was startled by the appearance of another figure coming around the same corner. ❝Sorry... I’m a little um... oh edge.❞

Pandora sighed and flopped down in a chair across from him. ❝It seems your ears are fine, but Christmas will not be for most.❞ Though, Pandora really didn’t mind staying all that much. It was bound to be much better than a Christmas at home. If only she’d learn to hide her lack of disappointment. ❝... It really is rather tragic.❞ Then again, she hadn’t quite heard the news that families would be visiting.

James was on his way to the tower when he saw pandora with a stack of books over her head. he couldn’t help but laugh when they fell everywhere. “at least you tried,” he said before bending over and picking up a few.
❝And I’ll try again... Maybe with a different spell. But not the one that made them all stick to each other. That made reading extremely difficult and my roommate was not pleased.❞ Pandora sighed and began gathering her books.
