I’m a big believer that Cas aged his body on purpose. He gave himself wrinkles, some graying sideburns, maybe a little bit of a belly. Because that’s what human bodies do. They age. They become a map of all the things they lived thru and for the first time Cas thinks he would like that - to look back at his life in this vessel, to remember, every time he looks in the mirror.
