Anon request for Timothy Lawrence. I so feel ya. buddy.
âI didnât know the definition my friend, I only asked that.â She smirked before stepping away from the seemingly mauled animal.Â
âAnd I answered.âÂ
âSoâŚ.are you just going to admire your work or are you going to actually do something with it? It would be an awful waste to waste possible food.â
A redrawâŚ.sort of.
'Smooch' lips
SEND ME âSMOOCHâ AND A BODY PART, AND MY CHARACTER WILL KISS YOURS THERE.
Hugo kept his back to the door, waiting in the coat closet for what seemed like much too long.
His breath caught with anticipation as he heard footsteps approach, and he fought every instinct to whirl around as the door slid open behind him. He waited until he felt someone join him in the darkness, and heard the door slide shut again.
He cleared his throat as he turned around. âHere I am,â Hugo murmured, just above a whisper.
The stranger didnât move, didnât leave.A part of Hugo ached to know who the person was â they knew who he was, after all â but that was part of the fun.
There was the sound of coat hangers sliding along the rack, hangers weighted down by furs, and jackets, and all assortment of things somehow both musty and new.The sound of space being cleared, of room being made.
The closet was pitch-black dark, only the barest hint of light shining beneath the door. It did nothing more than show where the exit was.
Hugo eased forward. âIâm going to touch you, just trying to find you.â
There were only the sounds of breathing. Hugoâs. The strangerâs.
Hugoâs hand carefully reached out into the darkness, gently exploring further outward until his fingertip brushed against the strangerâs neck. More assured now, Hugo cupped his hand against the warmth of the skin. He guided his fingers over the jawline, and his thumb lightly slipped over a pair of soft lips.
Hugo smiled. âHave we met?â he asked, expecting no answer. None came, but he thought he felt the mouth twitch â a smile, perhaps â beneath his touch.
âIâm going to kiss you now,â Hugo said, his voice lower, warmer.
The stranger didnât leave. The sounds of breathing seemed louder. Senses heightened in the dark? With the excitement? Hugo never really knew how it worked.
He didnât have to.
He moved in, and just before their lips met, he heard the sound of something delicately wet, like the petals of a flower, the sound of a lover preparing for a kiss âTwo peopleâs breaths drew in for a brief moment.
And then there was contact.
A veiled hint of a smile a nod of approval. At least there were some beings in this sector that she had not be entirely disappointing. That her belief in was not entirely unfounded.Â
âI should not be.â She remarked. âThere is no room for remorse in the outfit.â
Perhaps others, but not in this one.Â
âWe are here to bring order at any cost. For this planet, for this station. Just as we have infiltrated the opposition, they have likely done it in kind. Any and all dissidents will not be tolerated, and we have from the highest priority to dispatch them.â
A pause for a few beats. A shake of her head.
âI suppose he would prefer it to be a more public affair, but that is where we disagree. However, it simply up to you in the end.â
A surprising point of view, though predictable seeing as Jack was nearly the same.    âMethod is in no need of judgement, we only need the job done. At any costs.â She stated, reiterating what Kar had just explained.    âHave you come across people who believe they can account for a conscious  for this?â she inquired, wondering if people within this profession had thought they could hold a sense of compassion.
â people will stab you in the back and then ask you why youâre bleeding. â
Hugo thought he was dreaming at first. He literally thought he might be asleep, because that was pretty common in his office. And when was the last time he had seen Cadia?
Heâd thought she was gone, in different dark senses of the word.
She looked like a wreck. Sure, there was the limp. And he couldnât see behind her mask. But even despite her posture, strength, and the clarity of her speech, Hugo could tell she was exhausted.
He rose from behind the desk and rushed to her. He reached out in case she needed to lean on someone, but he held short in case she didnât.
âGod, Cadia â I⌠I thought you wereâŚâ Hugo couldnât seem to finish a sentence. Except one.
âI rented out your apartment.â
She didnât much care what the man did, the only thing she had done there was refresh and sleep before getting back to work. However it was an important asset, mostly for the reasoning of renovations she had done without the permission of Hyperion.    âI hope Iâll be getting that room back, otherwise itâll be painted with a new shade of red.â She commented before standing up straight. It was a painful task, however she couldnât allow herself to be weak now, no matter how much it hurt.     âI can brief you on details if youâd like, but I have a few things stashed in that apartment that is required.â She stated, her voice beginning to strain as her muscles threatened to collapse.Â
âNo shame in enjoying what you do my friend, even if this particular job leaves a lot of stains.â She mused before tossing away the rag she had used to partially clean her mask.    âAlso, if I may ask. What did you call me?â She inquired.Â
âFriend, I called you friend should I have not called you that?âÂ
âI didnât know the definition my friend, I only asked that.â She smirked before stepping away from the seemingly mauled animal.Â

"I wasn't sure if you liked flowers, or chocolates, or cards, so I didn't get you anything. But here I am!"
Cadia was unable to give an accurate expression to convey what she felt towards this, however she remained quiet for a good moment. Confused by Hugoâs sudden entrance and, apparent, lack of some sort of gift was strange. Had they planned something that she had forgotten about over the past few days? If she had, Hugo had a right to be salty for the next few weeks.    âYes here you are, uh. Did I miss something?â She asked, reaching to her face she unlatched the mask. Placing it on the right hip of her belt she couldnât help but let out a slight chuckle at his comment.    âI didnât even expect you today Hugo.â She explained.Â
âItâs⌠your birthday, right?â
Hugo checked his ECHO. There was a database of employee birthdays that heâd been scrolling through all morning, and â
âItâs not your birthday. Ah.â Hugo looked back up at Cadia.
Her mask was off. Hugo had almost forgotten what her real face looked like.
âWell, since Iâm here, wanna go grab some coffee?â
Her birthday? She wouldnât be another year older until August. Even if it were her birthday she would be plenty confused, it had turned into just another day. Somehow, it was comforting knowing that someone knew, let alone set out to visit.   Finding herself giving Hugo a smile she nodded in agreement.   âThat sounds nice, I am curious though. I didnât take you for a man who would visit his employees on their birthday.â She commented.Â
â/)///v///(\â
Cadia was slightly confused at the inquiry, what she thought of her boss was something that, in the past, she wouldnât want to talk about. Considering her connections with the man, however she didnât much have that exact problem now. For now it seemed, Hugo did appear to flirt, she could only hope she was misreading. No matter how rare it was for her to do such a thing.    âHugo is a fine leader, and he lets plenty of things slide. You werenât there during the tour of Jackâs office and everything were you?â She inquired       âNo I wasnât, but I did hear about a couple of the employees dying during that tour. Rather gruesome stuff, heard someone beheaded them all and set them up in the hallway as some kind of warning!â The man quivered, a gruesome fate for any person to meet.    Rather than any sort of regret towards her actions she gave a satisfied smile from under her mask. The man standing before her left to ponder just what it was that she was conveying. Seeing as he didnât have a clear connection to what had happened there, she decided to move around it.     âAnyways, I have seemingly gotten away with murder. Plenty understanding and knows what heâs doing. I can respect what he has to offer me thus far. Now if youâll excuse me, I need to return to work. Wouldnât want this station to fall apart.â She grinned before moving past the other and towards Hugoâs office.Â
Send me shippy headcanons for our muses! Or send âship hcâ to hear one I have for them!
Lbr, we need more in-universe drinking songs.
I gotta wonder how many bars, tapcafs, cantinas etc. have a big âNO MANDALORIANSâ sign on the door in the SWU.
And how many times the sign just gets torn off and has a mythosaur skull sigil spraypainted in its place.
Or instead of tearing down the sign a group just wanders in anyway. When theyâre confronted they shrug and say they canât readâŚusually while browsing the menu.
I would guess that this song was written after several drinks, accounting for stunning originality of the lines:
We are Mandos The elite boys Mando boys From Mandalore
I would guess that, were it not for the fact that they are Mandalorians, who follow their leader Mandalore, and come from the planet Mandalore, in the Mandalore system.
That last reblog reminds me of THIS POST
Send me â/)///v///(\â to see how my muse would talk about yours, to another person.
People tend to speak their minds openly when the subjected person is absentâ or seemingly so! Have your muse overhear what they werenât meant to hear about them!
