I see ur lesbyler stuck in byler universe and teaching byler to be gayer but I raise you lesbyler stuck in byler universe but Mitch(Michelle) is the more obviously queer one and knows shes in love not Willow and starts bonding with Will over it and how they both r in love with their “straight” best friends. (They are under the impression that perhaps they just like the same gender in every universe no matter what gender they are) Willow and Mike are then left to their own devices while their best friends bond. Both have always wished deep down that their respective best friends would be the opposite gender so it would be okay to be in love with them and end up spending so much time tgthr they start to have “crushes” on eachother but they don’t tell anyone bc while it’s not ‘gay’ per se it is weird to have a crush on ur best friend genderbent(think that through u two) and start kinda secretly dating while Willow and Mitch r stuck there but they know it won’t last because Willow needs to go back to her world. But while they’re “dating” they find that they’re not attracted nor in love with eachother at all, not the same way they love the other versions of themselves. And they both cry together about how maybe they are gay and in love with their best friends and not eachother.

Anyway now they have two paths… break immediately and tell the others their feeling or tell will and Mitch they’re dating and pretend to keep doing so to see what they’ll do.

teacher byler is actually the best thing ever because they would both find so much of themselves in teaching

mike, being the nerd he is, would LOVE a job where he can just yap about his favourite books all day, and he would definetely want to feel like he's making a difference in the world (we all know mike wheeler loves to be needed), so giving kids something to be happy about and to have passion for would literally be his dream

and will loves making art SO MUCH, and teaching art is one of the few ways you can actually make decent money from it, so i feel like that's the reason he would initially go into teaching, and then he would meet all those students who he starts to see himself in and he would also want to help them find themselves in art, just like he did at their age

and it's literally perfect for them because they get to share the things they're passionate about, help people, literally work at the same place and see eachother on their breaks, AND maybe they have just enough time to write and illustrate comics together on the side
