do not repost someone else’s edits, i can’t believe this has to be said so often. you’d think not stealing something should be an obvious choice here, but alas.
if you use someone’s edit as a sidebar, an update tab image or literally anything else don’t forget to credit the artist on your blog. it’s only polite
again, do not repost (and yes, uploading someone’s work and tagging it as ‘#not mine’ is also considered a repost). besides, reblogging is way easier
do not, for the love of god, delete the caption under the edit. the artist put it there for a reason. maybe it goes with the edit, maybe it completes it in some way, maybe it’s a tiny picture of a cat in a christmas hat, i don’t care, it’s not your place to delete it cause you didn’t put it there in the first place.
i don’t care the caption doesn’t ‘go with your theme’ if that’s the case just don’t reblog it and problem solved
not to mention a lot of themes have the ‘hide caption’ button. you’re just being a dick
someone else’s edit is not a place for you to vent your frustrations. don’t insult the artist, don’t add a long ass comment about how you hate this character/ship. just don’t. go outside, play with a puppy. get a life
