Personality: a bit distant. Presents asd with high masking, so while scarily clever has difficulty changing ideas. Rather blunt, can be frequently rude and on the nose. When you better know him, it’s a little better as he’ll learn patterns and understand how to be better to you.
Backstory: Born to games winner Haymitch Abernathy a year after his games. Was an unintentional mistake based off a night nobody completely remembers (listen, it’s not sotr compliant- real old oc) was hidden from the public eye as much as possible and not connected to Haymitch till the age of six when in class the annual Capitol assessments of intelligence were given and he scored incredibly high. When everything came crashing down, Haymitch and the boys (now deceased) mother were informed the boy drowned. Snow implies it was due to Haymitch’s rebelling. The boy was taught capitol propoganda from then, drilled with science and maths, quickly starting to work in the labs and rarely being allowed to exit after the age of 9. Currently head of biological innovation, which is essentially mutts and crops, plus livestock advancements. Snow often has him design and create just for the games.
