I think one of the greatest realizations I ever made was that I didn't have to choose between masculinity and femininity
The sooner you realise that you can do literally whatever you want as regards to your gender presentation (or lack thereof) and just take whatever bits and pieces you like from wherever, the sooner you can start enjoying life.
celery tastes like this picture
not to hate ableism and ignorance on main but if ur child tells u that they dont understand smth and didnt think to do smth thats “"common sense”“ and ur reaction is ‘i shouldnt HAVE to tell u to do that’ or ‘but u should KNOW this’ instead of trying to clarify what u expect and being patient w them then please for the love of god do some fucking research on ur kids adhd/autism or literally any mental illness/disorder before making them spend 18 yrs of their life convincing themselves that theyre just an annoyance to everyone for not understanding things like others do
This is what postmodernism
means
I fucking love libraries man like I’ve been chilling in my college library and randomly pulling out books and today I looked at one called “medieval sexuality” and it was talking about how monks thought they should never have sexual feelings or get erections ever and there was a quotation from the account of this one monk who wrote about how a woman had to stay with him one night because she was like travelling or something and the sight of her made him so horny that during that night he had to stick his hand in a candle flame to distract himself from how horny he was and also at least one monk wrote about having homoerotic dreams about Jesus
kids these days need to open a book and be scarred for life by some obscure historical fact that they could have easily gone their entire lives not knowing
*Opens book*
*takes 3000 Psychic damage*
*closes book*

What the expect & how to prepare
In 2016, there was major flaws with in-person voting in states like Arizona. This election is exactly the same, with states like Texas and California having people in line waiting past midnight LONG after polls were supposed to close. This is blatant voter suppression and is meant to discourage you from voting. If you don’t have mail-in ballot in your state MAKE SURE to prepare for the worst: wear comfortable clothes, bring water, bring snacks, and get ready for whatever fuckery they might try to pull so bring an extra ID.
If you work on the day of your primary or caucus HERE IS A WEBSITE that allows you to check your state’s laws on time-off voting. This will tell you info on the following:
How long your job is required to give you?
What exceptions there might be?
Whether or not it’s paid time off.
If you have to give advance notice.
Do you need to show your employer proof of voting?
How to volunteer
You can also phone bank, text bank, or canvas for Bernie. Even if you’re in a state that already voted you can still do all these things! You ARE allowed to canvas out of your home state. Check your area, there are events happening everywhere or you can host your own. ALSO!!! volunteer as a poll worker if you can
AND!! if you’re fluent in multiple languages you can really help to get the vote out in communities that often get overlooked by campaigns.
This is the current delegate count BTW:
And you can expect Bloomberg. Buttigieg, Klobuchar to pledge the few delegates they have to Biden, and who tf knows what Warren is doing at this point so GO OUT AND VOTE
If you are only 17 and want to vote for Bernie in the primary you might still have a chance!! If you will be 18 by the general election (Nov. 3, 2020) then you can still vote in the following states:
Idaho, Mississippi, and Washington allows 17 year olds to vote in their March 10th primary
Illinois and Ohio allows 17 year olds to vote in their March 17th primary
Alaska, Hawaii, and Wyoming allows 17 year olds to vote in their April 4th primary
Connecticut, Delaware, and Maryland allows 17 year olds to vote in their April 28th primary
Kansas allows 17 year olds to vote in their May 2nd primary
Indiana allows 17 year olds to vote in their May 5th primary
Nebraska and West Virginia allows 17 year olds to vote in their May 12th primary
Kentucky allows 17 year olds to vote in their May 19th primary
New Mexico allows 17 year olds to vote in their June 2nd primary
If any of y’all are still confused about what to do just message me and I’ll try to answer your questions.
TOMORROW TUESDAY, MARCH 10 the following primaries will takes place:
Idaho, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Washington, North Dakota, and it will be the last day for democrats living abroad to cast their vote.
If you are 17 years old in Idaho, Mississippi, or Washington then you CAN cast a vote tomorrow if you will be 18 by the general election.
The panic over COVID-19 causing people to hoard shit unnecessarily means I can't find medical supplies (like disinfecting alcohol wipes) without paying an obnoxiously exorbitant amount.
Generally healthy, able-bodied people don't need masks, exam gloves, or alcohol swabs to protect themselves against COVID-19. But chronically ill people and their caretakers do need those supplies to live their everyday lives.
Calm the fuck down and wash your fucking hands, ableds.
Able-bodied people and not-chronically-ill people are encouraged to reblog this, whether or not you're panicking over coronavirus.
This is a legitimate concern. I work in the Veterinary Medicine field and we are short on many of the items we need to function and save patients lives on a daily basis - exam gloves, surgical masks, etc.
I saw a thing and thought it seemed like something you might find cool
-This is GENIUS-Systlin-
the erasure of bernie’s jewish identity (for crying out loud-bernie’s dad’s family was wiped out in the holocaust) in order to dismiss him as “another old white guy” seems like idk SOME FUCKING BULLSHIT.
i will use like and literally 10 times in a sentence because im pretty and my meat is huge

If Biden gets the nom I’m really not looking forward to a bunch of rich daddy’s boys arguing who had less nepotism privilege. Oh yay children of billionaires and millionaires pretending they worked hard.

Are people aware that symptoms to disabilities and mental illnesses and stuff dont start when you get diagnosed? That symptoms exist before seeing a doctor? That expecting people to be 100% abled unless they have that diagnosis is incredibly fucked up? If someone is saying there’s something up with them, dont just shrug off until they have a doctors diagnosis, that shits ableist.
Came across this old as post of mine, and it still rings true.
