Things that would probably happen if MCR came back
• the same kind of kind of elitism we saw from the tøp hiatus
• ”Only the true fans stayed with them instead of finding other active bands to listen to”
• “All MCR fans who started stanning Fall Out Boy during the hiatus STAY WHERE YOU ARE you never had faith in them”
• someone will find at least one of their addresses
• People will say the old stuff was better
• An uncomfortable amount of teenagers calling them all daddy and justifying it by saying that they’re dads now
• People not believing it until they actually performed on stage
• a ton of accusations that the whole thing was a publicity stunt
• There would undoubtedly be some fans who would be really sweet and excited and form a great online fandom, but nobody would really focus on that
• Ray still won’t use social media that much
• Frank responding to all the freak out tweets with sarcasm and the vague implication that it’s a joke just to mess with us
• The same people who would make fun of kids for still liking MCR would put on black eyeliner and say that they never doubted them
• Gerard would come back to Twitter, tweet one thing about the reunion (probably just tour dates), and then never use it again
• A really long post about how they shouldn’t have left for so long and about how they’ve hurt their fans and ruined people’s lives will go viral
• 90% of the replies on said post will be people telling them off which makes you wonder why they even reblogged it in the first place
• People getting mad about how there’s less stage gay
• “I can’t believe our emo dads have returned from the war”
• A completely unrelated increase in Daniel Howell’s Twitter mentions
• At least one song about Donald Trump
• There would be old fans that would welcome new fans with open arms and there would be old fans who try to exclude them. Please be the good kind
• We’ll get some fucking awesome new music
