I would have more sympathy if Alex had actually gone through the same treatment as Pierre but he literally didn't. RBR coddled and defended him from media about his past the same weekend Pierre had to go up and talk about losing his job after 12 races and his dead best friend. His crashes in the RB were explained away and so was the fact that he got outqualified by his demoted predecessor in a slower car frequently. He had way more time to develop, got a new engineer even though Pierre asked and wasn't allowed the same, wasn't reassured he was safe days before being fired by the same boss who called him psychologically unfit for the job.

Figure of speech, maybe, but Alex *doesn't* get it.
