Exhibition of NUA MA 2022 graduates work that is to take place at: @anterosarts #Norwich #artexhibition #graduateshowcase #graduateshowcase2022 Anteros Arts, Foundation, Main Gallery, Fye Bridge, Norwich, NR3 ILJ. The #Exhibition is open from: 9.30am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday. From 30th of #August to the 10th of #September 2022. 'New Beginnings' is a #collaborative #exhibition showcasing #Textile and Fine #Art #MA #Graduates from Norwich University of the Arts.#nuama #nuamasters. After many challenges, finally on a damp late December Saturday we managed to install my #limecrete #castlime #sculpture #gilt #squash with help of the technician, I was so pleased. Although it has been a while due to working full time in a new job that I have had the time to post this, I am very happy that this gilt #illuminated piece was chosen to go on St Peters of Hungate #hungatechurchofart #Norwich for the #edibleeast project #Arttrail. I was experimenting with NHL. 5 lime mix for casting instead of concrete mix to lower the #co2 #carbonfootprint of #artistic practice in casting methods. I have also drawn upon my skills from the days when I was a restorer and gilder to produce this piece. The eroded/scouped out center of the piece shows the vital squash #seeds which link to the precious seed bank of the #johninnescentre.
