People are getting kidnapped, arrested, raped and killed. This has been going on for a few days now but naturally there’s hardly any media coverage.

THE WORLD CARES MORE ABOUT AN EMPTY CHURCH IN FRANCE THAN HUNDREDS OF INNOCENT BLACK MUSLIMS DYING IN SUDAN.

There are a few ways to help:

 - Emergency Medical Aid Donation

- Facebook campaign raising funds for food and other necessities

- International Rescue Committee

- Save The Children

Tumblr is amazing. I’ve never seen another website whose advertisers fail this miserably to actually advertise anything, and yet, they still inadvertently manage to produce good content through the medium.

people really need to be more critical of their ideas of humor, all so fucking irony poisoned that we laugh at elderly people grieving the death of loved ones cuz they used the wrong emoji, laughing at photos of homophobic beatings cuz someone wrote “my alarm” next to the attackers and “me” next to the victim, laughing at sexual jokes captioned over images of small children making funny faces

we all talk about how bizarre internet humor is and like, when were laughing at some runescape elf with an audio clip of the halo announcer saying “slayer” that shits funny and bizarre, but some of this shit is real fucking people and you cant get so disengaged with reality that you stop considering that

you need to honestly examine how you engage with this stuff

If you haven’t seen this video already, it’s something worth watching. While it’s quite disturbing to watch, it really shows the damage we are doing to our oceans and marine wildlife. I know a few companies are making the switch to biodegradable straws but it’s still not enough. Something needs to change and we need to make it happen!

This is disgusting. I’m ashamed to live in a world where we rely on so much plastic. It’s time to email our politicians and demand change. It’s 2019 folks…wake the F up. THIS IS A PROBLEM.

So happy to see people are passionate about making a change towards getting rid of plastics! Marine animals rely on us to smarten up and make the change. If any of your are interested in helping our cute sea creatures, there’s a great place called www.savetheturtles.ca. They sell reusable straws and donate 5% of their profits to Sea Turtle Conservancy. Something worth checking out to make a small change.

The black eye is from a mosh-pit injury though.  Not everything changes.
