Update

I've let life in the past six months take me on a speed boat without direction, without hesitation or without stopping to take it in. a lot has happened and only now am I thinking wow fucking hell, I'm tired. I entered the second phase of my second year of PhD and with it has come a lot of self inflicted pressure and stress. It's the feeling of responsibility that hey here's a project that I'm supposed to be the only one studying but mostly it's the constant feeling that i have to prove myself, comparing myself to other people, constantly convinced that I don't have what it takes. that in itself is a shattering feeling never mind the physical strain of long commutes and over working without necessarily getting the results i expect of myself. No one prepares you for this, it's a thing you have to go through yourself and it's painful. I hope I get through this summer still intact psychologically.
