     okay. okay! why is this so hard for him to swallow when his best friend is a witch and his other best friend is a shapeshifter. who knows. he’s staring at this dog who seems to have a voice that comes from nowhere.

    ok, troubling. either finn is also asleep or the dog is talking. henry never said anything about his dog talking, but then – how would he know? holy shit. henry’s dog talks and he might not even know.

    “you – you t-t-talk?”

     the dog, also informally known as dog, folds his paws. there’s a decidedly petulant sideways glance at his sleeping master. his mouth, in what’s a either gratifying or disturbing fact, doesn’t move when he speaks. what, you think dog mouths can get their teeth around english? don’t be silly. he licks his leg instead.

     “Not around him, I don’t.”
