Several months since I have been on parp and this is what I get on my first search

Submission: So, I used to think that I was trans and so I added these modifiers because it was like my situation; FtM but big thighs that kind of give it away. I understand why the other person thought I was sexualizing it, but they didn’t let me explain and so I guess I ‘ruined their day’ or whatever.

Now I don’t bother with changing genders at all when I rp characters because somebody always gets triggered even if it’s a simple gender swap or a Ranma ½ thing (it’s an anime where a boy turns to a girl when he gets splashed with cold water, and turned back into a boy with warm water) and I get called transphobic. Parpvriska: Gender bends are not transphobic.... They've canonly existed in shows ex: Futurama, Adventure Time... People who say it is transphobic are a bunch of pc babies looking for something to bitch and moan about. Boohoo that's problematic? Problematic is just a term used when people don't have a real reason to dislike something. Parp Vriska out.

Submssion: Me again! I caught this and i only looked at the name before disconnecting, but after i did i actually read the last few lines and came back to try and mention to this person that even under NSFWE you still need to have things like drug abuse under a trigger warning. ParpVriska: I honestly forget drugs/drug abuse is something that triggers people given that I watch a lot of inappropriate TV/ Movies that feature that shit... But agreed. They could of at least put a TW:Drug Abuse in the beginning of their starter.

Submission: The caption of the first image of my imgur album says “I if Sombra as a trans girl; post top and bottom surgery and on hormones, but if you ask nicely I might consider playing her pre bottom surgery.” The whole reason I head canon her as being trans is because I think it adds more to her character, and gives her more of a reason to hide who she used to be. I try my hardest to stay away from fetishizing it as much as I can, and still get people like this disconnecting because (at least I think) they think I’m just fetishizing it, but they come off as just straight up transphobic. And then on the other side of the spectrum you have people who people who just LOOOVE girls with dicks but will leave at any mention of dysphoria or having scars from surgery. You just can never win ParpVriska: They probably thought you were another fethishist like you said and that is really sad for people who actually want to roleplay trans characters. Parp is really fucked up in that aspect because a lot of trans character roleplayers are purely doing it for a kink which fucks over actual trans individuals. Chicks with dicks is a huge kink on this website and a lot of people (myself included) are tired with it. This doesn't excuse the rudeness of this person and it definitely came of transphobic. I am sorry that this site has made an ACTUAL LIFESTYLE a kink. TRANS PEOPLE ARE NOT A FETISH. My advice is If you wish to roleplay trans characters with people who will actually respect you you could try cherubplay where you can specify what you want. .

I'm sorry if this is a sensitive topic for you at all, but just like smut references and stories, how do you feel about people bringing up self harm late in a role play without asking?

ParpVriska: Depends on the rp and how they mention it. If you are role-playing a depressing roleplay and someone mentions past self inflicted scars on their character I could let that slide but just straight up bringing it up out of nowhere without permission is wrong. I feel like previous mentions of it are okay (ex: showing scars) because it isn't as intense but if you have someone who just starts self inflicting harm upon them that is a big no no.

About Fannon RolePlayers

I do not understand the hate with fannon completely, but here is my side. I play as Karkat, I know that he rants a lots and probably wouldn’t be a quiet as I make him. However, playing as an OC is off putting and I would have to rework a lot of prompts for that OC. I have met a lot of wonderful people just doing what I do and I’m terribly sorry if you guys get mad that portray Karkat completely differently. It’s understandable and maybe you guys mean something way worse than what I do, I don’t know. It just makes me feel like garbage is all.

playing a character differently and playing fanon are two different things. Fanons are a set way of incorrect stereotypes the fandom created (ex: Vriska is a bitch with no good in her, Cronus is a r*pist, Karkat says nothing but fuck ass and screams all the time). Portraying a character differently is fine. It is okay to ad a softer side to a character or add a bit more personality. People hate fanon because some people try to force each other into fanon and make fanon canon. Fanon Rpiers are annoying and get mad when you don't rp fanon. They argue that fanon is canon and are basically the people who haven't really read Homestuck out side of fanfic. Fanon is bad.

Also... Karkat canonly has a quiet side... The always screaming Karkat is Fanon... So congrats on not roleplaying fanon stereotypes.
