category 5 autism moment incoming (I really like him) but I've always personally felt plainly saying Graham has npd kind of misses what's being so heavily implied with his character. he acts so vain and self confident to cover up multiple layers of insecurity and self worth issues. he literally works himself to the bone to prove his worth, before passing out at the end of his fight. I don't blame people for not looking into him any deeper than they have to but to me, looking into his dialogue, introduction comic, employee notes and shit, he feels more like a walking bag of insecurity with an egotistical bandaid slapped over top rather than someone with npd. I don't think his ego is genuine.

I totally support reducing the stigma against npd and headcanoning more characters with it, I just don't personally think Graham in particular has it. that's just my opinion however!

whos gonna tell them that npd is literally just what they described. anon why do you think the most prevalent part of having npd is grandiosity and an excessive need for admiration… because the person with it is, as you described, ‘a walking bag of insecurity with an egotistical bandaid slapped over on top.’ thats why when a person with npd has their image threatened, they spiral, self isolate, self destruct, what have you. because theyre insecure. also a lot of people with npd satiate their need for admiration and recognition with overworking themselves LOL

u cant say destigmatise npd and then proceed to know jack about it
