Я нашел эту старую видеокамеру сегодня?
i'll be perfectly honest with all'a youse i am Not the type of person who sees any difference in raytraced games LOL these pics are fun but my brain just doesn't prioritize minor light reflections over other more obvious graphical features
some more raytracing shots with the effect turned slightly down to preserve some of the original darkness
unfortunately almost immediately after those sequences (so when you get to riga) the raytracing becomes unusable lmao like u can keep it on but it looks real bad. something in the lighting changed so total darkness looks awful and blown out, and the cursed tunnel is lit up like daylight lol
so apparently my new pc can not only utilize raytracing in games that come with it, but also inject it (?) into other games via the nvidia control panel?! so i've been playing the original 2033 again with it on; unfortunately a little too bright for my tastes in some tunnels, but otherwise cool to see on a game that's often mud grey and high contrast lol

posting out of nowhere to remind everyone that No Light, No Light by Florence and the Machine is still the greatest partyom song of all time. thank you.
OOOOOHOOHOOOOOOOO
started a new metro playthrough for the first time in a long while, decided to try out some reshade presets. looks pretty good
Dall-e mini results for “The Kitchens in VDNKh”
for the first time ever i just noticed that metro 2033 (the original) has a secondary desktop icon it automatically uses when you increase the icon size past a certain point?? neat
A digital copy of my Metro 2033 zine is free to download here
