One of my favorite things I've drawn. â„ You can probably tell this version is a little censored, which has always bothered me (nothing's even showing either way), so here's the proper version below the cut:
the sketch for the last comic, because i always find those fun to see. I ended up cutting out most of the stuff about them being in a helicopter, because that seemed distracting if you didnât already know what was going on. Yusuke straight up jumping out of a helicopter is great stuff though, the madlad.

If you havenât read this fic yet, I highly recommend checking it out!! Itâs an epic might-as-well-be-canon sequel that takes place five years into the future, when the whole gang (Strikers and Royal included) have to get back together to face a new threat. Itâs an ensemble fic, so Yusuke&Futaba are only a small part of it; it mainly focuses on Joker as he finally starts confronting all his past trauma, but there is plenty of the Thieves being a family, and even the confidants each get their moments.
Excerpt from this part of the fic:
The Phantom Thieves gather at the back of the copter, Jose doing his best to swerve out of the way of oncoming fire as Lucy deflects the shots that he canât dodge. Queen stares down at the Fortress; a battalion of Shadows wait for them inside, their bullets whizzing off the copterâs hull and Lucyâs shields.
She feels Joker squeeze her hand. âWeâve got this,â he says with a confident smile. âPhantom Thieves, taking heartsâŠâ
She smiles back. âAnd kicking ass.â
âGet ready to jump!â Oracle shouts. âIn 15⊠14⊠13âŠâ
Fox grabs her shoulder. âFutaba.â
âInari, Iâm kinda busy he-â
The Thieves gasp as Fox cradles Oracleâs face, leaning down and pushing back her mask as he gives her a quick but deep kiss.
Oracle stares at him, eyes wide, body trembling as her face turns crimson. âWh-wh-wh-wh-whuh whuh whuhâŠâ
He smiles at her as he moves toward the open ramp. âFor luck.â With that, he leaps out into the open air.
âYUSUKE!!!â the Thieves scream.
Gorokichi appears at his side as Fox plummets toward the Fortress, his sword flashing as he deflects the rain of incoming bullets.
âHEE-HO!!!â he shouts as Gorokichi reaches out toward the ground below.
A glacier rises to meet him, several Shadows encased in its ice as Fox lands on the frozen surface. He slides down toward the courtyard, weaving between gunfire.

5. Two types of couples. One half shows Maleficent and Diaval on their feet and bickering. On the other, Aurora has Phillipâs head gently pillowed on her lap. Phillip is bleeding from his side. Aurora says, âI love you.â Phillip pauses for a long time and then says, âI didnât think I was dying that much.â
6. Diaval in human form is holding a mouse in his hands and staring at it with wide eyes. Phillip, who is still lying in Auroraâs lap, shouts, âDiaval. Hey! Give me the mouse.â Diaval says âWhaaat, you think Iâd eat him?â Phillip replies, âYes.â
Nick frowns, brows drawing together. âI canât see it, either. It guess it makes sense that the person who eats the cake is the only-,â
âItâs gold,â Ace interjects. Nancyâs head shoots up. His voice is soft- thereâs wonder saturating his words. âI thought it would be red.â
The string of fate- the line that is supposed to draw Nancy to her soulmate, her other half- is wrapped firmly around Aceâs left hand. It flickers briefly before settling into a more solid form.
