“I know. I’m sorry. Well, I didn’t write cute little poems or ask your sisters anything, but I did watch you from afar. That sounds so creepy now that I think about it. Did you just call me a scared little nerd? I’ll have you know I was not little. I think your ego is good enough where I don’t have to admit to doing anything that I have or have not done.” His eyes locked on hers as she pulled his face to look at hers. “Sorry. It’s hard not to think about. I could have not been a ‘scared little nerd’ and just done what she wanted without making you a part of that. That’s my fault. I’m tired of the wars, I guess. Twice was enough for me to get involved with. The only thing that keeps me from having to deal with the consequences of my actions is my mother. Aren’t I lucky that Zeus is scared of just her. And my sisters. But nobody is a fan of the Fates. I think.” He stopped talking for a few seconds as he thought about what he was saying. “I’m sorry I just said all of that. I’m just glad we’re married. And that you gave me little assholes for sons,” he said with a chuckle. “Sorry.” His hands lifted up into a surrender and he lifted himself up into a sitting position again. “My shows aren’t awful though. You should just appreciate them with me. At least Little Einsteins.”

“That does sound creepy, but it’s also endearing. Most likely only because it’s you. I did. Are you only denying the little part? Not the scared or the nerd? My ego is barely sated for the moment, but I’ll spare you.” Sighing, she let her hands slide over the curve of his jaw and down until she cradled one of his in her grasp before bringing it up to kiss his knuckles. “There are things to be sorry for, but everyone is selfish at times and you shouldn’t apologise for that. If it brought me to you, then I’m not sorry for it. Mm, well, my father’s fear works in your benefit, does it not? I could live without your sisters, but they are your sisters so I try to respect them. It may not always work though.” She smiled at him, still holding his hand, and gave a slight shrug. “Stop apologising to me for things that do not matter. And if our sons were assholes, then they got that from you. I’m the good on.” When he pulled away, she only stared for a moment before sitting up and rolling her eyes. “I can’t appreciate what I do not understand. Why can’t you try watching something I like... like Ever After High?”

My ego is great right now, but it’d be even better if you admitted that.” Her brows knit together as she placed a hand on his jaw and let her gaze lock with his. “Hey, come back to me. You’re going somewhere that I don’t want you to go. Be her with me and don’t think about that. All that matters from that is you and I were married and we had beautiful children and I’ll love you no matter where we are or what we’re doing.” Groaning, she tried to move out of his touch and closed her eyes. “Do you realise how distracting that is for me right now? Don’t touch me if you want me to get up or answer questions about all of the awful shows that you like to watch.”
