Because she is? She was legitimately Horribly racist to Jacob when she first met him. Also I remember her using them (mostly Jacob) to help with her “headaches” in BD when Jacob and his lil pack were protecting them and trying to be all fake nice and shit now that she finds them useful while still being fucking racist with those “dog smell” comments toward him and shit. Jasper isn’t the only racist Cullen. Alice, Edward, Rosalie and evening Carlisle have been racist as well. sue clearwater deserves the same love and attention that esme gets on here. she loves and supports leah and seth while grieving the loss of her husband and learning the ins and outs of having a position on the council when she’s probably never even been to a meeting before. she finds a friend in charlie and they connect over how empty the house can feel when your spouse is gone and learn the beauty of second love together. she’s inspiring and powerful and she deserves the character development the fandom gives to so many other characters

alright I’m just gonna say it: fuck the Cullens for leaving Bella behind and then having the balls the tell her who she should and shouldn’t hang out with while they were gone.

i think smeyer has an issue with not allowing her characters be single. renesmee could have easily grown at a normal pace, like every other child, but she was so obsessed with forcing romance onto her characters that she created the easist way possible to make a BABY and a grown MAN be a couple...because she can’t handle people being single. jacob also didn’t have to be in love with bella. i said what i said.

i totally agree. and on top of that, she sees breaking up or moving on from relationships as a character flaw. so jacob and bella could never be together because then bella is evil for having loved more than one person in her life.

jasper, esme, and rosalie are the characters who had previous partners and all those relationships were abusive and manipulative bc that way it seems like their new partners were really the only people they ever loved.

people can have multiple relationships or be in love more than once or never be in love and there is nothing wrong with any of that. but nooo we have to watch jacob be horribly mistreated and turned into an asshole and then be forced to fall in love with a baby. i call bullshit.
