“Looks like we are being followed.” Takeru glanced behind him as they drove along the road. “Whatever you did they want you taken out. Or me this time. I can’t tell anymore.” He whipped his bike to a stop, facing the oncoming monster.
He’s being followed, it seems.
So when Takeru brakes his bike to face the monster, Tsukasa decides to get a little showy: he doesn’t just brake the Decader, he skids in a 180° turn and performs a wheelie in an attempt to hit the unknown creature.

With an eyebrow raised in disbelief, Takeru debated whether to take anything seriously coming form this guy. “I’m Takeru Tenkuji.” He left it at that not sure how to respond to Tsukasa’s statement.
“Maybe… But I doubt it. Hold on a sec.” Takeru fetched his vibrating phone and answered a call. “Another?!…. Wait… I’m already here. It should be here in a minute? No it’s okay. I got a um friend here to help I guess. Yeah I’ll tell you about it later. Thanks Onari.”
“Well it looks like you are at the center of something.” He said as he hung up the phone. “Maybe we can get some answers from this one. You might want to put your camera somewhere safe this time.”
“Good. Let me just get my bike, and I’ll follow you.”
Tsukasa goes to get the Decader. Two or so minutes later, the duo is already speeding to Daitenku Temple, on their way to solving a new paranormal incident.
Now, Tsukasa will have to deal with something he doesn’t think he’s ever dealt before:
Ghosts.
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
“I don’t know. I don’t come up with plans. Plus you’re the one being targeted. Don’t you know what you could have done to make them upset?” Takeru began to wonder how this man possibly once led an evil organization.
“Think back to what you did today Deacde… er… What was your name again?”
“Tsukasa Kadoya. The greatest Kamen Rider ever.”
And so, Tsukasa tries to line the pieces up for this plan. “OK, I led an evil organization. Right? So if those Ganma guys are targeting me, I must have double-crossed ‘em in some way. Assuming they’re sapient, maybe I forced them to do something for me, like...”
“...slave labor...”
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
Takeru wanted to bring up what just happened to counter that statement but he decided against it. “If you say so.”
“First thing we need to figure out is if you are actually being targeted. If you are then we can go from there.”
“Good point. We’ll need a paperclip, an egg and-- who am I kidding...” This is no time for jokes, he realizes. “OK, let’s operate under the assumption that I am being targeted. Where do we go from there?”
At this point, Tsukasa is slowly realizing that there will be no end to the punishment he’ll endure for his sins as the Great Leader of Shocker.
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
“I’d appreciate the help. But I don’t think you’ll get much from them. Other than having your soul sucked out of you to fuel whatever plans they have. Yeah. Watch out for that. My friends say it’s an awful experience.”
“You’re with me, kid. Nothing can go wrong when I’m around!”
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
“That is a lot to take in.” Takeru sorted the information out in his brain. Almost as if crossing off a checklist as he registered piece by piece. “Okay, so you were evil and the head of that group with the weird guys that kept mentioning Shocker.” He thought back to those weird monsters that weren’t Ganma that he fought alongside the Zyuohgers. “Okay. And there are other worlds. That I knew. Ganma world is so dreary. And you aren’t evil anymore. That is the important part.” A sigh of relief escaped him. He really couldn’t handle having to fight anyone else and bring himself back to life.
“Well I have these eyecons. They are the spirits of many great people from all of history. Heroes of all kinds. And I just put them in my belt and I am able to use their power to fight.” He intentionally left out the part of them being able to grant wishes when together. “Oh and I have a giant iguana.”
“Well, you got me at ‘giant iguana’.” Tsukasa grins amid laughs. It’s not like Rider arsenals haven’t gotten wacky before.
“Maybe I should... go help someone while I’m here. Screw up Ganma plans further. Who knows? Maybe one of us will walk away with a new power! It’s Rider rule.”
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
“A few months ago I would be freaked out about zombies but… Here I am. A ghost. You look well for a zombie.” Takeru laughed.
“But in all seriousness, this may mean you were targeted. These Ganma are all about some twisted sense of order and you being here is probably disrupting that. I mean ‘Destroyer of Worlds’ doesn’t seem like the most orderly title. You aren’t planning to destroy the world are you?” Takeru has to make sure.
“Disrupting order... sounds like me. I have a thing for pushing the wrong buttons wherever I go.”
Tsukasa decides to explain his “job” to Takeru, just so the poor kid can get a sense of how he is.
“See, I used to be the incarnation of evil. Ever heard of Shocker? They’re the ones responsible for starting it all. The legend, and the legacy of the masked riders protecting all of humanity. So I used to be the head honcho of that organization, until, well... I got amnesia. Then my not-girlfriend gave me a belt and a card holder that I think I used in Shocker, and from there, my journey began. I wasn’t fighting for “justice” or any of that, but for the integrity of the A.R. Worlds - Another Rider. Imagine us having this conversation in another universe, times a million.”
The passing-through Rider opens his jacket to reveal his belt, the Decadriver. “This is my belt, a card reader. With my cards, I can... copy the powers of every other Rider up to myself.”
“What about you, kid? What can you do, and what do you do with it?”
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
‘So he knows I’m a Kamen Rider?’ Takeru thought to himself. ‘He may have been targeted specifically.’
“Yeah. I’m a Kamen Rider. Kamen Rider Ghost. And that monster. He was a Ganma. Also sort of like a ghost who take on eyeball like forms. As for your camera… Well the monstrous ones fuse with items of historical value to attain bodies…. I think.”
The last question was a peculiar one indeed. He shouldn’t have seen them fighting at all. “I don’t know how you even saw us fight in the first place so I don’t know.”
“Are you a Ghost too?”
“...ghost?” Consider Tsukasa surprised. So this is what Riderdom is like this year; dead men walking.
“Look, I... OK, I died once. But my journey companions pulled some shenanigans using a damaged picture from my film roll, and boom, here I am. I’m more like a zombie, if you wanna get semantic.”
Tsukasa laughs softly, recalling some of his adventures after the restoration of the Nine Worlds. “It was... quite a journey. But it’s not over. It’s never over.”
“I’m a Kamen Rider too, you know. The Destroyer of Worlds: Decade.”
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
“Did you see any other floating eyeballs or monsters? Do you know why your camera was taken?” Those were the only questions Takeru could think to ask. He wasn’t the one who usually did the interrogating. “That’s all I want to know.” He still couldn’t shake the feeling of there being a bigger picture he wasn’t grasping. But he hadn’t realized this man was a part of it.
“Not... really? If I have something that guy wanted, I have no idea. He just... did it, out of the blue. If he was after me, though... I guess you’re cool for saving me.”
And now it’s time for Tsukasa to do the interrogating.
“And now I’ll ask the questions. You’re a Kamen Rider, right? What was that monster just now? Why did he merge with my camera? Why did he suddenly turn into a floating eyeball before he did it? Why did you two keep appearing and disappearing at random?!”
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
“Hmph.” Takeru took a sour tone as the camera was removed from his hands. “I guess I can believe that. Considering you didn’t run when I told you to. But maybe you can help me. I’ll answer your questions if you answer mine.”
“Fine, then. What are your questions, kid?” And Tsukasa asks, waiting to see if this boy practices his wit as well as his fighting skills.
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
“Eh!? You’re still here?” Takeru fumbles a bit before landing the blow. The Ganma eyecon lays broken on the ground after the explosion clears along with the camera. “Hmm? Is this why?” He asks himself as he releases his transformation and picks up the camera. “Is this the reason you stayed? Is this your camera?”
He looks back at the man he thought he was saving but at this very moment Takeru realized there was something he was missing about the whole situation.
“Yeah, that’s my camera, thank you very much.” Tsukasa grabs the camera forcefully and rudely. Typical of him.
“I have so many questions... you have no idea. That was probably the weirdest situation I’ve ever been involved in. And believe me, I’ve been in... too many.”
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
“Gotta end this quick. There might be others.” Takeru pulls the sunglassher from his belt. The two struck each other several times before Takeru took a shot to the chest. He heaved over as Yurusen popped up to remind him that he should finish the fight before he exhausted himself. “I know! I know!.” Takeru raised his left hand and shooed away Yurusen as his right hand was placed on his knee. He took one final breath before raising up again, ready to fight.
He placed the Ore and Boost eyecons into the sockets of the sunglassher and prepared a final strike. “Let’s finish this.”
Something is bugging Tsukasa. Both the ghost Rider and the monster keep disappearing randomly, to the point of disorientation - at least to him. Otherwise, the fight is going perfectly well.
“Hey! Could you stop disappearing and give me a good view?!”
Meanwhile, the Sunglasslasher sings very cheerily as Takeru readies his finisher. “Mega shiny! ♪ Mega shiny! ♪”
Inspiration! Ghost of a Chance
The sound of a motor fast approaching was the only indication of Takeru’s arrival. He slams the bike into the monster. “Looks like the paranormal activity report was right.” Although he just expected to find ganma eyecons floating around this part of town. He removes his helmet and hops off his bike, making sure to secure the man behind him. “I’ll take it from here. Get to safety!” Takeru looked back and gazed towards the direction behind the man.
“Alright I don’t know what you’re up to Ganma but it ends now.” With that said Takeru removes the Boost eyecon from his jacket and lowers it into his driver. “Henshin!” He runs forward as the black and red hoodie attaches itself to him.
“Hey, don’t treat me like a kid. I got--”
Upon seeing Takeru summon his belt - an eye socket with a lever - Tsukasa promptly runs off, waiting to see what this kid can do.
“So... he’s a Kamen Rider too.”, he thinks. “I guess I should check him out for a while.”

It’s another day in the life of Tsukasa Kadoya.
Not much action lately. It’s quiet. The man has his pink camera in his hands, ready to take some new shots. With a press of its button, the lens captures something unusual - what appeared to be a meek, black and blue monster making its way towards Tsukasa.
Startled, the passing-through photographer looks out of the lens, but sees nothing. Still, he feels a punch coming his way. It’s painful, just like any other monstrous punch he’s ever taken in his life.
“What the--” He’s pulled up, and punched again. He falls to the ground. But just as Tsukasa gets ready to whip out the Decadriver for the fight, a small floating eyeball appears in front of him and directs itself into the pink camera he was wielding.
And in a bright flash, the camera comes alive, appearing as that meek monster in the camera, wearing a French beret, a pink coat and a large lens on its torso.
And Tsukasa groans. “Please tell me this isn’t happening...”
