“Uh... So, thing is... I think I once went on a training trip with Durandal...? Azrael didn't give us much choice in the matter. Although... That lady, Maira..? She was acting really strange.”
“Is... everything back to normal now...?”
She sighs.
It's the anniversary of the day Urban fell. The day that she lost everything. And, in her mind, she still believes that it's her fault. If she hadn't existed, they'd still be alive. They wouldn't have died.
Luciana comes to a halt near some flowers. She stares at them for a moment before plucking one. Slowly, she tears its petals off.
"They loved me. They loved me not."

Zack looked up at the sky above him. “Wow, even a place like this has a moon.” He commented to himself. He did not necessarily have the habit of talking to himself to begin with, but all the time spent traveling with cloud had ingrained a habit like that within him. Well, even then he was talking to Cloud. Really, he was just looking for somebody to talk to in this moment.
Which is what surprised him when it turned out, there was somebody almost directly behind him. Zack jumped. Even though he was one of the strongest SOLDIER’s in existence, a girl suddenly appearing behind him, that was what made him jump.
“Oh hey! Didn’t see you there. What are you doing out so late at night?” Perhaps the better question was what he was doing, but Zack moved on to the next topic. “Are you looking for somebody to walk you home? Well, it is pretty dark out. Lucky for you, I’ve got the light of the whole sky in my eyes.”
He pointed at his own eyes, both a bright shade of blue that seemed to be mixed in with every color of a sunny sky. The classic eyes of mako infusion, though he doubted a resident from another world would know that.
A simple thought of her former comrades had lead her to walking the streets, the moon at her back. If this truly was what they said, then why hadn't her teammates ended up here? Had she... truly been killed as well? It still made her wonder how many years would go by before she came to terms that they'd never come back. Twirling her parasol loosely in her hand as she walked, Luciana sighed lightly to herself.
How long would it be before she overcame that simple hurdle?
Coming up behind someone, whose build faintly reminded her of Makoto (and had her wondering if he had washboard abs, too), Luciana paused, only for the other to jump. Had she been too quiet? At his words, she wondered if it was normal for people to greet someone like that.
(She also briefly wondered if he had a few screws loose.)
“Taking a walk.” It wasn't uncommon for her to do so, especially when the moon was visible. But was he...? Luciana blinked, before hastily opening her parasol to hide her face and recompose herself, closing her parasol right after she'd calmed. “You're offering to walk me home?” At the mention of his eyes, she had to get a closer look.
Her own golden eyes were filled with curiosity. His eyes were strange, unique. Blue and yet so filled with the sky.
“You're not lying... How did your eyes get like that? Is it a special trait of your race?” After all, back home on Flurutus, all races had a special uniqueness about them. This man, though... He was certainly peculiar.
{ Haven't been here for a bit. I have a couple starters to write, but I'll postpone them until after amageddon ends, seeing as that's what everyone's defaulting to at the moment. As it is, I'm open to write. I may just hop forward in Luciana's eventual development so as to make her easier to write.
So, guessing that from here on, Luciana no longer stammers, stutters or hesitates. It'll be easier on me that way, and probably more fun for you guys. }
Like for a starter. Capping at 3.
“….I’ll… take my sanity… over destroying things… thanks…”
“Who says you have to be insane to destroy things? It’s quite therapeutically. Besides, creating goes hand in hand with destroying.”
“....It's... also loud... and... It reminds me... of things... I-I don't want... t-to remember.” Luciana looks away, as if embarrassed. “Th-that... may be true... but it doesn't mean... destroying things... would help anything...”
“….I don’t… get the appeal of… destroying things…”
“You’re missing out on a lot of fun, that’s for sure.”
“....I'll... take my sanity... over destroying things... thanks...”
“....I don't... get the appeal of... destroying things...”
{ ….Whoops. Forgot about this blog. Sorry about that. I’ll be posting something IC soon. I got too carried away on Eizen’s blog- }
@lunar-mage-mare
“Aithne!”
She looked so much like the girl from behind that Luciana had found herself calling out, footsteps falling in a hurry to catch up to her. Grabbing the girl's shoulder, she swung her around and hugged her...
Until she realized that this girl's eyes weren't the amethyst colour Luciana was used to seeing. Abruptly, she pulled away and turned around, hand gripping her parasol tightly.
“I'm... sorry. I... I thought you... were a friend...”

She didn't know what to think. In fact, she didn't know what to believe any more. Only a few days in and already she's having doubts that she'd ever see her teammates again. If this was a world filled with people who'd passed or whose worlds were obliterated, then certainly she'd see them again... right?
There was no trace of anyone she knew here, however, so it made the moon maiden more despondant than usual. If only it'd been her and not Makoto--!
Luciana pauses, hearing something. An instrument? Was there such a thing here? She follows the sound to locate the source, finding a young boy on his lonesome. But she doesn't speak for a moment, not wanting to interrupt. But it feels... creepy, sort of, tp just linger there without sayimg a word.
“That's... a nice melody,” she offers, golden eyes looking to the left. “S-sorry... I thought... I'd say something.”
@truefaceofahero
“No... That... can't be it.” She looks over the book she has in her hands, trying to figure out what in the world it actually meant. Something about theories? Shutting the book, she replaces it and pulls out another. “....There's... nothing but pictures in this book.”
A pause before she replaces that book too. Leaving the bookstore, she walks out into the streets, hand clutching the starfish decoration that was her partner. Luciana stops, seeing something out of the corner of her eye.
A child? Here? Luciana turned to look, shouldering her parasol. This felt awkward. Carefully, she approached the child and knelt down, parasol resting on her knee.
“Is... something wrong...?” She can barely get the words out and looks down at the ground. “I... apologize if... I'm intruding on something...”

She doesn’t know what to think upon meeting this stranger. He almost looks like her old captain, Giovanni, which is enough to remind Luciana that yes, he was dead and no, he wasn’t coming back.
The moon maiden approaches the stranger, gently poking him with the tip of her parasol. “….Hey… Can I… know your name, please?”
Being hit up at random on the street was not something Joe was used to. He was by no means popular, his appearance was kind of bland, and sometimes he felt as if he was radiating the very definition of “introvert” and “loser”. At any rate, not many people had business with him, even less so strangers. So upon being stopped at random the teen could only take a hesitant glance as speculations for this sudden forced encounter started spreading within his mind.
“ I… guess? Kido. Joe Kido. But what do you need something like that for…? ”
“Joe Kido, huh...? So, you're... not...” Luciana glances away, putting a hand to her chin. He looked enough like her old Captain that it was bothering her. His hair was the wrong colour, though. She didn't mind, though. “I'm... sorry. You remind me of.... of an old friend of mine.”
Of course, she wasn't certain on how she was to interact with people. It'd been some time since she'd actually tried talking to someone since the death of her entire company. “Are... are you new here, too?”
