Patch decided that after a night of drinking that he’d do his good dead for the day and head down to the animal shelter where he often volunteered. He was put in the back room to help with the dog grooming. He waited for them to bring in the dogs, but was told someone else would be helping him that day. A girl walked in, that he had seen there a few times before. “Hey.” He spoke with his signature smile. “You are Rosie right?” He questioned, they hadn’t talked to many times before, since they had never been put on the same task but had spoken briefly in the past.
“Cheers!” Patch said holding up his drink to cheers with the few people he was out with that night. He eyed a pretty girl sitting alone at the bar. Patch was doing better, he wasn’t that guy anymore.. meaning he wasn’t going to chat her up, take her home and never talk to her again. But he kept seeing her make eye contact as he sat with his friends. As Patch finished his drink, he figured he’d go up to the bar just to get another one.. and maybe just say hello to the girl he was making eye contact with. As he began walking he bumped into someone. “Hey sorry man-” He spoke and saw it was Thomas, a guy who had run in the same circle with, and they often were a little competitive with each other, but did not know each other well. “Hey.” He spoke, and then realized he was probably going to chat to the same girl. “You noticed her over there too then eh?” He questioned with a sly grin.
Cocking her head to the side, as one normally sees a confused puppy do, she couldn’t help but just stare. “Your hands don’t look that small though.” Grinning with a wink before jumping off the paint tins she strolled around the counter with her hands jammed into the pockets of her red denim jumpsuit that had the arms tied around her waist. She looked more like a car mechanic model than a hardware specialist. “They’re around here somewhere, what do you need them for?”
“Funny.” He chuckled with a smile. “We run a little hammer’s club for charity at the firehouse so the kids can build little fire trucks and then the parents donate money to the sick kids foundation. So I was sent to buy the hammers” He explained. “Not to by little hammers to make my hands look big and manly.” He chuckled
Sitting in the hardware store, Lula was flipping through a magazine. It could have been about anything because she wasn’t even paying attention to it. Sitting atop a stack of paint tins and buckets one would liken it to a throne of sorts. A small bubble popped against her lips as she resumed chewing on the light pink candy. Looking up for the briefest of moments she could see someone walking among the shelves, a brow arched as she contemplated whether they were trying to steal or not before it dawned on her that she didn’t really care all that much.
“You need anything?”
A slow day indeed.
Patch was sent down to the hardware store to pick up a few little hammers, since they were doing a charity for kids, where the kids could come to the firehouse and build little wooden fire trucks. He heard someone ask if he needed anything. “Yeah, actually. Do you know where your tiny hammers are?” He questioned.

Patch is very close with his siblings but has a small sibling rivalry with Lucky since they are so close in personality
Patch and Penny are super close, most even refer to them as the twins, since they are always seen together
He is fiercely over protective of his family, and really looks up to his dad.
He is bisexual and was really scared of commitment in his younger days so he broke a few hearts.
He acts very sure of himself but is a little insecure at times.
He loves being a firefighters because he just wants to help others.

Like his siblings, he is responsible and cute. He looks up to his father as his role model especially after he was rescued by them. He also holds a small rivalry with Lucky. He and Lucky are very similar in personality; however, there are a few differences. Lucky is confident and arrogant, as opposed to Patch, who is insecure and humble. Lucky is apparently considered the favorite of the pups; this could be part of their rivalry. Despite his sibling rivalry with Lucky, Patch is close to him. In some accounts, it is said that Patch and Penny were never seen apart from one another.
