Hello Gals and Pals!
I have something a little different to share with everyone today! My very supportive Aunt had asked me to make some going away cards this weekend for her 11 co-workers!
I didn’t have any gender netural cards, as most of mine do have some sort of character on the front of them.
I pulled out Tim Holtz Coffee Blueprints and embossed each watercolour paper with black embossing powder. I wanted to make sure that the watercolour wouldn’t react with the image, and I really wanted to make sure the stamp was bold on each image. (Since the stamps have the cute blueprint notations on them)
After embossing I pulled out my little distress cubes and Zig real brush markers to smoosh ink in a loose watercolour look. I kept the card design pretty simple, letting the emboss image make the biggest impact. Of course, I did have to add a sprinkle of little sequins or homemade epoxy circles.
I had fun making these cards and I hope you enjoyed looking at them as well!
