"How often we pointed out others because they’re different? different in the way they think, the way they walk, the way they dress, speak or love. We mistreat other people because we consider them inferior or less intelligent, or because they have a different skin color. We make heavy jokes about someone because they belong to other cultures and have different beliefs. We feel entitled to judge others just for having a different opinion from ours, and we forget that we live in a pluralistic society where we all fit and where everyone should be heard. And even more, the minorities that have been marginalized and are suffering a silent discrimination."
Blue and Not So Pink (2012)
Okay, Tumblr. We need to talk about this movie right here. This is one of the most extraordinary movies I’ve ever seen in my life. It talks about so many issues we have with society nowadays. The main subject is homosexuality, but It also talk about how people, young people, believe their ugly when they’re not. Also, it talks about family, and how a father tries to reconnect with his son. Ad it shows how a woman, who is abused by his husband, learns to put herself first. Homophobia is also a big part of the movie. It teaches us that loves comes in all types and shapes and it shouldn’t matter. It also teach us that death is a part of life and sometimes all you have to do is move on.
The movie is so amazing. This, right here, should be a movie that every single person on tumblr have watched. I know many people on here are struggling through a lot of this stuff, so you should watch this movie and see how amazing it is.
This movie con help people, so if you have some free time someday, sit down and watch it, because I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed.

The Three Goddesses: Yōko Kanno, Michiru Ōshima and Yoko Shimomura.
When asked about how he prepared for his role as Quentin Compson in the upcoming "The Sound and the Fury" adaptarion by James Franco, actor Jacob Loeb mentioned that he: - Read a lot of Faulkner. - Lost a lot of weight. - Stopped masturbating. - Called suicide hotlines. - Went to Harvard. Seems pretty legit to me. In a side note, I might be developing a man crush for Jacob already.
This small piece of cedar travelled a long way before getting here. A really beautiful gift from a lovely co-worker of mine :D
Al borde de un "Macondonazo"...
Me everytime I see a goddamn car sticker or a graffiti that reads "Smile". Bonus points if it has a f*cking (: face.
“I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire...I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment and not spend all of your breath trying to conquer it. Because no battle is ever won he said. They are not even fought. The field only reveals to man his own folly and despair, and victory is an illusion of philosophers and fools.” - William Faulkner, The Sound and the Fury. Art by Joshua Kemble.
A rather lovely couple by Tommaso Vidus Resina.
You know what I'd really, REALLY love to see? A noir film featuring Christoph Waltz and Michael Fassbender, both as the experienced detective and as the newly minted one, respectively. Perhaps something set in the 40s or 50s; although I won't get picky with the period as long as as they dress all classy and speak German and French at times. Oh, and music by Bohren & Der Club of Gore. In a side note, Michael Fassbender is mai husbando. Do not steal.
Después de tanto tiempo inactivo, decidí hacer un pequeño fandub de un anime bastante gracioso, conocido como "Danshi Kōkōsei no Nichijō". ¡Espero lo disfruten! To all of my non-Spanish speakers, here's a little something I prepared just for fun: a fandub of the anime "Danshi Kōkōsei no Nichijō". Hope you enjoy it! :D
In April 1961, writer and Nobel Laureate William Faulkner received the Andrés Bello Order in Venezuela, by former President Rómulo Betancourt. His acceptance speech was fully delivered in Spanish.
My girlfriend made this drawing for me. It doesn't show quite well in the picture but it says "You are my Link" at the foot ˘◡˘
Oh and that Cookie Monster was a gift from me that she really liked.
