She is upset for the right reasons and was concerned for the many people who were at risk.  All other platforms including LinkedIn are secure and she wanted to keep it that way until all arrangements have been made to beef up security without alerting the hackers creeping eyes.

Wouldn't t be amazing if platforms focused on security over competition and worked together to prevent such complications?
Wouldn't it be amazing if your information was changed and they actually waited for a true response from you before letting the hacker full access? It's too late when they redirect the information and it is not reaching you. How does a complete takeover happen without your permission?
Wouldn't it be amazing if you could hack your own account to get it back the same way that it was stolen? Â
Wouldn't it be amazing if you could at least shut down your own account when it's not your own anymore? Oh! But you cannot, and for some reason you are put into a queue (well you hope that is the case), because no one reaches out to you, and if they do...you wonder if it's authentic too....and the hacking continues to grow, increasing the risk of personal safety for every other user. While you are left feeling violated, naked and exposed without any human rights or identity. You have been removed from your birthright of dignity. Thats how it feels immediately....and needs to be remedied. Â

This brings one to question the authenticity of all other accounts that are still running...and are they really controlled by the one who opened them in the first place. Basically, it can only be concluded that a mass amount of accounts are indeed not authentic, and should be considered fake at this point.Â
Experience and security need to be friends...Hacked people can tell you it's not that easy. To have your proof rejected and be circled back to the reporting station where you cannot get into your account, leaves you in a resting place of unsupported accountability, where the account you once held...holds no authenticity from that point on. And no one is there to support, help or believe you. There is nothing you can do after you have done everything you can. This experience has put your trust button on lockdown. You will never be the same again. You can move on knowing you did not give up and did all that you can, and believe in yourself more than ever before. This is the experience that helps you back to your dignity. You have a right to now, there is no-one that can duplicate you.

For now, Paula is alive and well offline

We have received no word from Instagram
We have discovered there is no help for victims
And this was very disturbing
You are treated more like the criminalÂ
And there is no support for you
The right of dignity is stolen
No one believes you are you
You feel exposed, trashed and violated
And you are alone and isolated
The hacker is considered armed and dangerous
We caution you to be very careful online
And if this should happen to you
Then consider yourself missing too
Stay safe in real life for the time beingÂ
And protect your digital information
With a social media reconstructionÂ
And some serious time for healing
Change all passwords
Do more than two factor authentication Â
Use back up codes and a secure key
Be prepared with your authenticity
Keep in mind you know who you are
Smart users know not to believe
Everything they see online
And the others? Well they will learn like you
Thereâs nothing you can do to protect others
When you have been taken over
Everyone is at risk

There is no cost until it happens
And that risk is not worth the stress
