Assassins Creed Origins

Assassins Creed Origins is a part of the Assassin's Creed franchise and it has been given a release date in October of 2017.

The game is developed by Ubisoft and the first game of the series came out a decade ago in 2007 and was available on PlayStation, Xbox 360 and PC.

The story

The plot of this game surrounds events that happened in the real life. It will offer players an insight into the story before the story in the fight between the Assassins and the Templars.

This time the Assassins will be just a sapling organization started in Ptolemaic Egypt following the main hero, Bayek who works to help the world and people against evil.

The game design allows the players to explore the map on foot or using many different means of transportation, such as horses, camels, and boats.

Gameplay

As in previous installments of the franchise, the player is always given missions he or she must either perform by eliminating the target or using stealth and sneaking around while spying unseen.

Ubisoft game developers have said that there will be some changes from the previous games in the same franchise.

Players will be able to freely roam the world with an open plan design and there will be fewer tall structures the assassins can climb to unlock the different parts of the map. However, the tomb raiding will be returning.

Combat system now will be reaction based and the naval combat players have seen before will see its return.

The development of the game began back in 2014 after the Black Flag was completed. There was an information leak in 2017 with screenshots of characters but the official revealing of the game happened in June 2017.

Composer of the game is Sarah Schachner who also worked on the Black flag and Assassins Creed Unity.

Multiplayer gameplay also will be available.

CYBERPUNK 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is based off a pen and paper tabletop game called Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk is a game in which the character is able to roam freely around the world of 2077. The game is equipped with cyborg like characters, corporations, and psychotic military-like police. As of right now, the game is very thin on details and the last trailer to be released was in 2012. However, gamers are still hyped about the trailer and the slim updates that are being leaked out. From the trailer of the game, a cyborg woman has been swarmed by the police. Naturally, a person would think that once any human-like character has been shot, they would die. Instead, the cyborg character drops to her knees as her shirt has been covered in blood. Interestingly, only her robotic arms are holding her up from the ground as the psychotic police takes her with them.

As anyone might have expected, the world of 2077 in the game will feature controlled governments and corporations. Recently there has been a grant awarded to CD Projekt Red to help out with the design and the development of the game to make the game become more realistic. The grant has allowed for CD Projekt Red to hire more experienced developers to help with designing the game, and to come up with better ideas.

Unknown Release:

The release date of the game is still unknown. However, the grant that was awarded has an expiration date of 2019 meaning that the game has to be released by that year. There are also rumors that the game has had problems as to some of the game being hacked by hackers as of this year. As of right now, it isn’t known if this will push the game back or not. Moreover, there are rumors that the game has come to a halt due to the redesigning of the engine of the game. However, CD Projekt Red has issued a statement saying that they never said that the game had come to a halt, but that the game is being worked on as other gamer engines require as well.

South Park the Fractured but Whole

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a follow up to March 2014s same franchise game South Park: The Stick of Truth a role playing video game in which a new kid moves to town and gets involved with the South Park kids’ epic fantasy game involving everything from Nazi Zombies to aliens and wizards. This time in South Park: The Fractured But Whole instead of fantasy the role playing game takes on a super hero theme. The children of South Park are on a new quest still set in the fictional town of South Park in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. However, this time the boys are split into two groups pitted against each other. Cartman’s gang Coon and Friends, and rival group Freedom Pals. As the player we still control The New Kid, although this time we have the option of being a male OR female New Kid.

We have so far seen some clips of actual gameplay of South Park: The Fractured But Whole, the first being when game director Jason Schroeder gave a game demonstration at E3 this year, in which we see superheroes Captain Diabetes and The New Kid in the Peppermint Hippo Strip Club, fighting off drunk men and giving lap dances to clients all the while on the search for more information about the towns missing cat problem. The crude humour and unparalleled obscenities are nothing short of what can be expected from anything out of the South Park franchise and in this video game installation we see them blatantly but playfully poking fun at superhero franchises such as Marvel’s the X-Men.

MOBA influence is what really makes me love most video games. Well, there is plenty of it in the video game known as Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 3 for PC.
