about me:

Hi! My blog name is peachescarnotaurus (take a fat guess what my favorite animal is) but you can call me Peaches, Sour, Vertebrae, Carnotaurus, or really whatever tickles your fancy

I mostly go by she/her but you can use they/he too. I promise I won’t care.

hobbies:

I mainly like to draw and write, but I do enjoy sculpting sometimes.

I collect fossils/bones and cool rocks. Bugs too.

I sew stuffed animals sometimes, mainly dinosaurs.

I occasionally dabble in 3d modeling in Blender

Hiii @peachescarnotaurus !!!

I saw your Yutyrannus and immediately started plotting to paint her... Partially as my very evil revenge for you drawing my dinosaur, but also because her design is just sooo lovely. I really like the breakthrough of the cold blue crest against the rest of her color palette. I feel like it brings out the intensity of her red eyes and bright orange feathers so nicely!!!

I haven't painted tyrannosaurids in a long time, especially at such an angle. I hope i didn't get carried away too badly with the stylization, and if i did i hope that it atleast looks interesting enough to make up for it :'P

there she is..... i think im done with the texture now, will move onto the babies sometime later this week i think !!

she's my most complex blockbench model to date i think with full articulation. even the segments of the fingers and toes are rigged (which turned out much better than i thought, i hadnt really done this level of articulation before partially because i was worried it would look bad with the wings). theres also a full mobile pupil and two separate eyelids per eye. all of the feathers/wing parts are in their own groups in case i want to move them too.

im planning to export her to blender in order to rig some IK bones (blockbench IK is terrible) and be able to animate her better. i think im pretty good with blockbench animation but its just far too limited for what im planning.
