my main issue with making aus is that i will also make sub aus. like the au but theres some different significant change or addition to it. and ill keep making these in my brain until theres like an entire ecosystem of them

I think I've made up a few Garth facts in my head and accepted them as canon, I can't remember if his tattoos are actually there for a magical reason or if the tattoos directly correlating to magic and showing kind of what magic you can do is a Young Justice thing.

I need clarification for sure, I have a scene idea for a fic, maybe the necromancer one, but I don't want to get too lore divergent

I know where I got it from, I got it from 2016 Aquaman #47, which I haven't finished mind you, but between this and Young Justice's magic tattoo thing, I think I just assumed that was the across the board answer for Garth's tattoos as well.

Maybe Arthur dies and Garth raises him from the dead cause he can't handle loss

Do we ever see Garth in shorts after Rebirth? I ask because the reference I have for his Rebirth design says "Tattoos covering left side" but I can't tell if that's supposed to be just his arm or if it's implied to go all the way down his left side

Arthur had a little bit of time to raise the near feral Atlantean child before he took on the kid as his trusty sidekick Aqualad.

They're not yet familiar with each other, not quite family, but Garth isn't blind to the support an ally provides, and Arthur isn't about to leave a child to fend for himself in the open ocean. The first few months are hard, but Arthur is slowly carving out a space for the child Atlantis rejected in his own home.

thinking about this bit again, the 1st time they were revealed to be friends..

i'd reallyyyyy like to see a story where sabretooth tried to help logan escape weapon x, as its suggested he wanted to do here

a story that shows the slow breaking point of vic realizing that this whole weapon x thing is much different than team x, that he actually doesnt wanna be there anymore, since his side of the experience hasnt really been represented like. at all.

like this brief moment of sobriety from the drugs removing their mental implants shows more lore of his weapon x experience than any comic. they both remembered a similar thing happening before, likely many times before based on the stuff they were saying

most importantly, they still considered eachother 'partners' even after team x ended.

and vic was scared. yet, he still sought out the place again(before logan did, as mentioned below) for..answers? revenge?

(ive said this before, but i wish we got shown sabretooths version of this, how he reacted to seeing the sets..at least the animated series did a fairly good job at showing it, but that was also after he was given a backstory in the comics, so they had some more depth to work with)

its implied with both the silverfox memory + father arc that he got fucked with mentally just as much with the brainwashing shit..ive got a hc(based on the bit in the og comics where a tiger randomly shows up) that they forced them to fight eachother during all that. or at least, made logan fight him (as the main part of the experiment was replacing memories in real time, overlapping his vision with programming)

was reminded of that youtube channel that records footage of that bridge that scalps trucks today. one of the fascinating developments that's happened since i last heard about it is that, in one of their many attempts to stop the trucks from being can-opened, they installed a traffic light that detects when a vehicle that's over the allowed height is coming and turns red so the driver can stop and hopefully notice the signage all around that's screaming "YOUR VEHICLE IS OVERHEIGHT TURN AROUND" and avoid an accident. However as a result sometimes drivers see the light turning yellow and IMMEDIATELY start flooring it to avoid having to stop, ensuring that the roof of their truck just gets fucking annihilated instantly. Really beautiful stuff you should check it out

It DOES have a sign. It turns on when it detects something too tall for the bridge. It even flashes. And the traffic lights will go red to get people to stop when it detects an over height vehicle so they read the signs. (note this lovely example where the lights are red, because the truck thought it was better than the lights)

every time I see this post I've forgotten how clearly signposted the canopener bridge is, and every time it hits me like a truck (hitting the canopener bridge and getting the top of its trailer ripped asunder)
