Aisha رضي الله عنها said: O women of the faithful, when you sin, do not inform others of your sin; instead seek Allāh's forgiveness and repent to Him. Because people shame and do not support change, while Allāh support change and does not shame.

“If someone wants to know what position he enjoys in the eyes of God, he has only to look at what place he gives to God (in his heart and life).”

“There is no doubt that the one who memorizes more Qur’an will, in most cases, be able to recite more Qur’an in prayer. The recitation of Qur’an is one of the most enjoyable parts of prayer, and having the ability to elongate your standing in front of Allaah subhanahu wa ta’ala is greatly rewarding.”
Inside every person has a story they wished to forget.
Abu Hurairah related:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) saying:
“A person may utter a word that he thinks is harmless, but it results in his falling in Hellfire [the depth of] seventy years [in travel]”.
Sahih al-Bukhari (8/125)
"Indeed, they used to race in doing good, and call upon Us with hope and fear, totally humbling themselves before Us."
(21:90)
i just heard the phrase “if you wouldn’t trust their advice, don’t trust their criticism” for the first time and i don’t think i’ve ever needed to hear anything more
‘If you knew the unseen, you wouldn’t have chosen anything but that which Allah has chosen for you’
لو عرفت الغيب ما كنت لتختار غير ما إختاره الله لك.
Abu Jurayy reported: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I said, “O Messenger of Allah, we are people of the desert. Teach us something with which Allah will benefit us.” The Prophet said, “Do not belittle any good deed, even pouring your leftovers into another’s cistern, even speaking to your brother while smiling at him. Beware of trailing your garment; it is a form of vanity that Allah does not approve. If a man insults you with what he knows about you, do not insult him with what you know about him. Verily, you will have a reward, and the penalty is upon the one who spoke it.”
Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān 522
Prophet Mohammed ﷺ said: Indeed, God does not look at your appearances and belongings but He looks at your hearts and your deeds.
It is indeed ironic that at times we see those who do not believe in the Hereafter hold more heroic stands to what they believed in to the point where it became part of them like their flesh and blood, while those who claim for themselves a garden of heaven bigger than the sky and the earth cower and tremble away.
One must have resolve to what one believes in even if the pain and suffering reach their peak. One must have commitment to his belief even if those around him depart and abandon him. This is how one succeeds in the test, a similar test that Allaah (عز وجل) sent upon His messengers.
— Shaykh Ahmad Jibrīl حفظه الله
