Photography. Thereās something magical about photography. It makes things - from special moments to random household objects be captured in a whole new perspective. Ā Thereās always something unique and special about each individual photograph and like any other form of art, makes me feel something.
Stuffed toys. Whether furry, squishy or both, stuffed toys never fail to make me smile and feel all warm inside.Ā
Chocolate chip cookies. These sweet treats are my ultimate comfort food and my go-to food whenever I need to bring something to a family potluck or just want to gift a friend with baked goodies.Ā
Road trips. The wide open roads, great scenery and an amazing play list to listen never fail to get my spirits up.Ā
Hiking. As someone whoās frequently in a city filled with bustling noise and garbage almost everywhere, itās really hard for me to get some much needed peace and fresh air. Hiking gives me the much needed exercise and lets me enjoy natureās beauty.
Musicals. Whatās not to like about musicals?
Museums.Ā Visiting museums is an incredible way to see and engage with important parts of the past, present and future. Every museum is unique, and itās hard to not get yourself lost with wonder and amazement.
Indie/Alternative Music. The genre offers a lot of diversity and is perfect for different types of moods, from happy, dance-y music to deep, dark tunes about heartbreak. Most of my favorite artists and bands are from this genre, and their music has helped me in a lot of ways.
Teen Movies. I mean, you canāt really go wrong with a John Hughes or any other teen flick. Whether the ratings are good or bad, teen movies never fail to make me feel kilig all over my body, laugh like banshee because of all the corny jokes, and make me feel so hopeful whenever the popular guy falls for the awkward geek.Ā
Rain. Though the rain is almost always associated with sadness and terrible events, a sense of relief and serenity washes over me whenever it starts to pour. The extreme heat of the Philippines could really be hard to handle, so rain is really a godsend to me. Also, the crisp, fresh smell that the earth has after a rainfall is one of the best things ever.

The sound when you scratch a holographic card. Thereās just something about the texture that makes me want to cringe. I heard that itās a common thing, but still, it doesnāt make the sound less annoying. I could get hungover from the sound for hours at a time, seriously.
The dark. Iāve been afraid of the dark ever since I was little. I never stop thinking about the possibility of someone- or something lurking around the corner.
People who are too full of themselves. I have nothing against feeling yourself. In fact, I totally recommend it. Itās really healthy for your mind and soul!Ā However, thereās a huge difference with being confident and just being plain egotistical.
Being isolated. I like being alone at times, but I find it really dark and lonely whenever I shut off from the world, which I tend to do a lot, actually.
Humid weather. The heat this summer has given me migraines, breakouts and has had me soaked in sweat almost 24/7.Ā
My anxiety. I just canāt help but overthink and stress so much. Itās a pain, especially when I have to talk to strangers or present something to people. I wish I didnāt worry too much.
Awful remixes. Remixes that arenāt made properly are annoying and are painful to the ears. 10/10 would not play it anywhere (unless I want to make someoneās day miserable), ever.
Oversleeping. Sleep to me is godsend. However, oversleeping has caused me so much headaches and feeling more tired than usual. I still tend to do it, though.
Long school hours. Dedicating 9-11 hours in school and doing more work after is very impractical. Not only does it hinder us, students from getting proper rest and sleep, but imagine all the other important things - such hobbies and family time that are compromised.Ā
āPaasaās.Ā āPaasaā is the Filipino word for waint, which is the giving of false hope. Playing with someoneās emotions is never cool.
