serious advice for those new to tumblr/young and on tumblr
–Don’t let this website become your life. –Please take this seriously, while you may see a lot of funny posts about ‘I’m deleting’ and ‘I hate tumblr’ the community as a whole on this website is seriously bad. –Formulate your own opinions, and don’t let this site brainwash them into you. –The mob mentality that often follows arguments blows stuff really out of proportion, and in the end it doesn’t matter, I promise you. –POST WHAT YOU WANT, NOT WHAT WILL GET YOU FOLLOWERS. –Anons are mean. Turn them off if you have to. You aren’t weak for doing so. –Take care of yourself. Download xkit and blacklist stuff you don’t want to see. –Sending hate is never worth it. –The social justice you see here is not an accurate representation of real-world activism. You do not EVER have to post a social justice thing if you don’t want to. –You do not need to be part of a minority to be loved –If you are part of a majority, you matter and deserve to love yourself all the same –Mental illness is NOT pretty –IF SOMETHING APPEARS IN YOUR INBOX ASKING YOU TO CLICK ON THEIR BLOG TO TEST A VIDEO GAME OR SOME SHIT, FOR FUCK’S SAKE, DON’T CLICK IT
Just, don’t get too swept away by this site. Go outside. Blog other places. Watch Netflix for a while. Do what you gotta do.
Very good advice indeed

This sigil was created to be used as a mega positivity boost! ☺ ☺ ☺
Let’s talk positivity- I’m sure people have said to you something along the lines of: “You think you’ve got it bad… what about (insert some catastrophe befalling humanity at any given moment here), just think happy thoughts!” and you’ve probably thought to yourself, ‘Yeah… okay… if only it were that easy…’
The problem is that being negative, in my opinion, is always going to be much easier than being positive. The world around us is a constant exhibit of negativity, think of how many times you’ve turned on the news and it showcased something other than violence, mayhem, or madness… Sometimes it can feel like escaping negativity is insurmountable, especially when negativity is showcased just about everywhere we look, and then you find yourself thinking: ‘What’s the point of being positive anyway?’
I have felt the same way but I realized that I needed to change my perspective. I would watch the news constantly because I thought that it would make me a better adult (Haha…), but I soon realized that I was absorbing all of that negative energy. Eventually, I realized that the only way to cut myself off from all of that negativity was to stop watching the news. Sometimes all you need to do is sever your connection with whatever is putting off negative energy- even if it is only for a little while. Most of us have to deal with negativity in different forms, whether it be from the TV or from people in our lives, so it isn’t practical to think that you will never have to deal with negative energy. BUT you can manage it!
Here are some helpful tips I use to manage negativity in my own life:
☞ First, identify what is causing you to feel feelings of negativity.
☞ Second, if you can cut it out of your life completely- Do it! But if you can’t cut it out completely find a way to minimize its impact on you. For instance, if it is a negative person you are concerned with, who you have no choice but to be around, use the take 5 rule. When you feel like the negativity from the person is about to wash you out: walk away for at least 5 minutes. Are you at work? Say you have to go to the bathroom. Trust me, it helps!
☞ Third, & final tip, breathe! When you feel like negative energies are getting the better of you: breathe in for 3 seconds and blow out slowly for 6! This is one of my go-to tips, especially when I just can’t get away from a negative situation.
As always, feel free to message me if you need advice or guidance. I am here to help should you need it!

Some great advice here I think
“I Can Deal With My Emotions In A Healthy Way”
So you can draw this over your vein on your wrist or over your heart on your chest (with non-toxic marker). Or you can draw it on paper and meditate with it over your heart.
Spell for When Someone Dead-Names You
Use for when someone dead names you, asks for your “real name,” or any other inquiry that’s douchey.
1. Obtain a large crystal that repels negative energy (obsidian, black tourmaline, etc.)
2. Throw it at their fucking mouth.
Ha ha ha, good one. That would definitely work. LOL
Holiday Witch Ball Ornaments
What’s a more inconspicuous way to add witchcraft to the holiday season than by combining the well-known concept of Witch Balls with widely used ornaments? Add the following ingredients to either clear, glass ornaments (so they can be charged by compliments) or to solid ornaments (to be even more unnoticeable) for the desired effects.
Family Peace:
lavender buds
two sprigs of thyme
dried cilantro
rose buds
Festivity:
three vanilla bean pods
whole allspice
dried tangerine or orange peels
sprig of pine
Love Drawing:
crushed rose petals
dried jasmine
dried lime peels
granulated sugar
glitter
New Year Prosperity:
whole chamomile flowers
one cinnamon stick
pine needles
juniper berries
Cool idea, thank you
Willow dome. A living structure that shades in the summer and lets heat through in the winter. Plant your own! It’s easy, place a willow branchs in water and let them sprout. Place in ground in a circle slightly bigger then you want your dome to be. Let them grow; remember willows love water. Once they are big enough weave their ends. Enjoy your new.. living room!
Oh, I so want to do this!
It almost never fails.
There are already a thousand posts on this subject, but apparently it is time for a refresher. Whenever I mention that I’m a witch on my main blog, someone will come into my ask box with questions tailored specifically to Wicca. Now, it is not their fault for not knowing, and they’re right to ask questions. But I’ve stated many times that I know nothing about Wicca and would be useless to answer their questions.
So my point is that it is rude to assume anything of a self-identified witch.
Everyone’s path is different and there is very little evidence to support much in the way of shared experiences between witches without running into our good friend: confirmation bias.
But the most common thing that I would like to clarify for the time being consist of the following-
Witchcraft, Wicca, and Paganism are all separate terms that mean separate things and cannot be used interchangeably.
Paganism is an umbrella term for a group of beliefs that may not have anything to do with each other. Consider the wide variety of Christians in the world and how much they differ. Now remove the central ideology. Check ‘other.’
Wicca is a specific belief system that falls under that umbrella. It is the most common religious identity of this kind. To presume that a Pagan is Wiccan would be similar to assuming that a Christian is Methodist.
Witchcraft is a practice that can take religious forms, but is not exclusive to a religious identity. Therefore, a person can be irreligious and still practice witchcraft. To extend this metaphor, assuming that a witch is a Wiccan is like assuming that a person is Methodist because they eat bread and drink wine.
I know that this will not be the last time I talk about this. It seems that the topic resurfaces once every few months and I’m certain that the next time someone finds out I’m a witch they will have well-meaning questions about Wicca. But with the frequency that it happens, and as we head into the Halloween season where the interest in witchcraft piques, I thought that now would be a good reason to lay that out.
There are a lot of nuances to this subject, but this is a starting point. There are a lot of people in the witchcraft community for whom this is a subject that triggers an angry reaction and it is, in part, because of the frequency that we have to make this clear distinction between witchcraft and Wicca. (There is also some… inter-community issues that regard it, but this post is long enough already.)
So to all the newbie witches out there, I hope this clarifies things for you and helps you ask the right questions. Good luck out there.
Excellent

Wow, I can only dream😂
Because this has happened to me a few times before when I had anon on. You get those who are “trying to save your soul” and tell you to “stop the devil worshiping” and it’s so annoying to deal with these radicals.
Now, I have nothing against Christianity because when it’s done right it’s actually a pretty chill, loving religion. It’s the radicals that taint the religion.
So put this on a hidden page on your blog to ward those radicals away because they’re annoying as hell.
Thank you mate.
Here’s a little Gift for my Australian and other Southern Hemsphere witches. A Printable list of the sabbats adjusted for our part of the world.

Marcielle, do you know any good rain, wind or storm aligned herbs that are easily available in Australia? Heather is a pest here and saffron is expensive, ao I was wondering if you knew any (possibly native?) alternatives? Thanks
Here is a list of herbs/ plants that I know arehistorically linked to weather magic.
The closest Australian nativeplants I could find would be:
Eucalyptus – Leaves throwninto a pot of boiling water – the steam will bring rain and healing
She Oak – Needles crushedand then thrown in a pot of boiling water – the steam will bring rain
Paperbark / Tea Tree – Thebark is waterproof and can be used in wards against bad weather and to preventrain.
Aboriginal Australians haveused song and dance instead of herbs to bring rain for thousands of years. I hope this helps!

colour correspondences
this one is so important! every candle, zodiac, planetary, moon and sun association revolves around colours, so make note of this in your book of shadows if you haven’t already!
red - strength, lust, courage
pink - healing, love, emotion, friendship
orange - work, relationships, family
yellow - joy, comfort, learning, confidence
green - luck, wealth, fertility, ambition
blue - tranquility, health, patience
purple - power, spirit, wisdom
black - banishing negativity, retribution
white - divination, purity, healing, exorcism
did you know? witches wear black because it is the colour that reflects all light x

Australian Witchcraft: Plant Life
TEA TREE
tea tree oil is super antiseptic, which means its great for a natural first aid kit. tea tree oil is also great for witchcraft, like any strong oil. i use tea tree oil for spells in banishing or cleansing.
EUCALYPTUS
eucalyptus is pretty good. so eucalyptus can clear up a stuffy nose and sore throat. did you know the leaves can also be infused and used for people with a fever and chills? the more you know. i use eucalyptus in my craft for opening up the house (chuck some eucalyptus oil in hot water, mop the floors or clean some windows, youre all set) and warding off negative energy.
EURAH LEAVES
i’ve talked about Eurah leaves before but its just so cool! Eurah leaves have been found to have the same (THE SAME) strength as some antibiotics. HOLY SHIT GUYS THATS SO COOL!!!! anyway aside from the AWESOME antibiotic strength of these plants, i dont use them in my practice as of yet. do any of youse use them? and if so, what for?
LEMONGRASS
lemongrass is fantastic guys, not only is it great tea, making it awesome for kitchen witchcraft, it’s also super easy to grow. i personally think lemongrass enhances what is already there, so i reckon if youre feelin sexy and you have some lemongrass, youre gonna feel extra sexy. some reckon its also good for divination but ive never tried it for that.
LEMON MYRTLE
okay so lemon myrtle is hella because it has the highest concentration on citral in the world (that stuff that makes lemon smell like, well, lemon), yeah that’s right, more citral than LEMON. lemon myrtle can be used like lemongrass, its generally sort of sweeter and rounder tasting. i reckon tho that you can use lemon myrtle in place of lemon in any spell or potion to give it a little extra kick.
alright so there is way more than what i have here but like, there is so much. if i get asked to do more, i shall but for now, here ya are. aussie plant life in witchcraft, bam.
