Hot Diggity Dog (Commission Corner)

Let me tell you about the time I commissioned somebody for the first time. Back in June 15, I commissioned MrMapolomi from Fur Affinity (🔞) to make a sketch of my Id/Essence Of The Heart/fursona, Cupido. By the time the sketch could begin to be made about a month later, I enjoyed the back-and-forth we has as the sketch was molded into our liking. For those of you who happen to know MrMapolomi, NO, I did not commission him for the reasons you think. See, at the time and currently, he was and is suffering form a severe case of bruxism (basically teeth and jaw problems) among other things. Although what motivated me to request a commission from him was because my lower wisdom teeth were removed around this time, I'd say the less suffering in this world, the better. With all that said, for those of you who haven't seen the first artpiece I have ever commissioned, here it is. If you're wondering why this commission is in a frame of sorts, I feel like this is what I should do every time I commission somebody to show my appreciation for what they've done (that is, if the commissionee allows it. I Want You... To Heal

Hello again, ladies, gentlemen and folks! Those of you who know me just as much as I know myself would know what my political leanings currently are, especially regarding recent events involving the second Trump administration, and the reason why I made this in the first place. However, despite what has happened, I have attained a sense of hope in the future nonetheless. As I mentioned before, although the Founding Fathers were flawed human beings who didn't really think about extending life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness towards other people groups, their ideals of anti-monarchism and anti-authoritarianism are something undoubtedly worth celebrating as the USA reached its 250th anniversary on this planet. If there was any reason to fight for a better tomorrow in this democratic republic I live in, this would be it. Besides, not everybody can simply afford the luxury to move to a different country and start their life over from scratch. (...Yes, I am painfully well aware I have posted this the day after Independence Day. However, regarding my scheduled availability for art and the astronomically coincidental timing of it all, I honestly don't give a yankee-doodle-darn.)
