10 | Falling Sack
Not gonna lie this one kinda blows ass. I had the brilliant idea of doing another loop straight ahead and it honestly doesn't work.
I managed to keep the arcs and spacing somewhat appealing so i'll take that and move on.

terrible comic day
9 | Jumping Sack
I'm going straight ahead with these sacks (nice) and I'm getting noticeably more comfortable doing big spacing changes every frame.
Pretty happy with this movement honestly, my big issues are the landing motion being a bit hard to follow and the fact that csp doesn't run the motion back at 24 fps so the end result is a bit faster than I hoped for.
Gonna start using gifs for animation preview.
8 | Waving SACK (loop)
I'm realizing that It's harder for me to intuitively do snappier timings without resorting to super weighted keys.
Its definitely the games animation showing through, but I also think it might just be my natural timing.
Here's my first animated short film, GEOMETRO.
Made as a submission to a 30 second short film contest for the Uruguayan Animation Festival, Its an attempt to show how I see my home city of Montevideo, and how i visually process the world and its shapes.

2 | Bouncing Ball Across
Another classic exercise. Found myself wanting to play a bit more with the bounce and overthinking it a bit too much, but I like it.
1 | Bouncing Ball
Literally 9 years ago I reblogged this old post and I proceeded to not do any. It's been bugging me for 9 fucking years. I'm doing them this year out of pure spite.
Reasons I have seen webcomic authors publicly cite for cancelling their comic mid-storyline:
Too busy
Lost interest
Increasing age gap between characters and author made it difficult to relate
Did the math and figured out that completing the planned arc with their current update schedule would take 150 years
Ostensible author actually a fictional persona that’s now being retired, and they didn’t want the comic linked to their real identity
Realised that the way they’d written the central relationship wasn’t emotionally genuine (note: this was a hobbit porn comic)
The comic’s readership contained too many lesbians
Converted to a religion that regards all representational art as a form of idolatry
Broke up with the person the protagonist was based on
Outed as not actually Japanese
Imprisoned for manslaughter
Aliens
This started out as a chill and fun post which quickly become getting punched in the gut at every word
