Osaka Central Fish Market! Such a fun crowded place to be.
Next stop was Osaka, Japan!
1st Photo: Random street in Osaka.
When we arrived in Osaka, the exit of the station we came out of confused us because we ended up exiting a really high end mall, which soon became Namba. The outdoor mall was crazy crowded. Namba is connected to Dontonburi street, which is also famous on the web. I had A LOT of fun collecting beauty products and makeup as there were discount stores all over the place.
2nd photo: Eggs and things breakfast
Macky found a Hawaiian themed breakfast restaurant. The desert was really good as it came with 3 sauces. Maple syrup, coconut syrup ,guava syrup.
3rd Photo: Osaka Castle
After that, we went to Osaka Castle. It looked realllllly nice, too bad it was closed that day. We went to the near by gift shop to buy gifts of course.
4th photo : Guy was putting on a juggling show
This guy just kept saying, WAIT FOR ONE MIN. SHOW WILL START IN ONE MIN. We didn't stick around to see what he was doing. Meh ahah
5th Photo: What would have been cherry blossoms in April.
We walked around the park at Osaka Castle. We were walking to the near by Fish market.
On our last day in Tokyo, We decided to head up to Nagano for a day trip to see the snow monkeys. http://www.snowmonkeyresorts.com/smr/snowmonkeypark/
The trip was worth coming out too as we got to see monkeys monkeying around. We really wanted to get the photo of the monkeys in the onset....but as you can in the photos above, they kind of just stood there teasing us photographers. There were two monkeys grooming each other the entire time we were there. The hike in is about a mile long from where the bus drops you off at.
Photo #1: Akihabara!
After the fish market, Macky and I went over to Akihabara! (also known as electric city) It was very exciting, we also ended up figuring out how to take JR there as well (train) because after walking all day, out feet started to hurt.
Photo #2: Owl Cafe
In Akihabara, we went to a cat cafe called Cat Mocha. It was a cool place to hang out and rest for a bit, while in good company of a dozen cats. There was a video game consul available, books and manga, cats toys, and a view of passer bys, The coffee was served out of a vending machine and of course, in Japan, at the entrance, you must take off your shoes and store them in a provided locker. We also went to an Owl cafe. The owls looks really fake, but they were 100% real. There was also a random chicken (hen) walking around as well. Pretty funny.
Photo: 3 ( Random Shrine) The papers are peoples wishes.
After Akihabara, we tried to go to the Imperial Palace, only to find that it was closed because it was the day before Christmas. ;( .After that, we went to a random shrine which had a lot of steep steps leading up to the shrine. We watched some people pray and watched what to do, so when we go to the next shrine, we can respectfully /correctly monkey see monkey do without offending anyone.
Photo #4 Then we went over to the convention center building and viewed Tokyo tower at higher elevations and during the night. From there on, we went back to our temporary home in Chiyoda and planned for the previous photos.
Hello World!
The trip of 2017 was in Japan! We didn’t really go traveling this 2017 because we were both super duper crazy busy. School, work, interviews, volunteering, and etc. But Anyway, I will share my photos in mini series.
Photo#1: Random Park Entrance near Tokyo Tower.
Our first day in Japan, we first explored Tokyo! We walked all over the place out first day to kind of familiarize our selves with surroundings + we kind of wanted to see things on foot v.s taking public transportation everywhere. We walked on foot from Chiyoda Tokyo all the way to Tsukiji Fish Market.
Photo #2: Random Alley way
In between we saw a bunch of family marts (with delicious fried chicken and other goodies such as onigiris (rice balls) and snacks), parks, Tokyo Tower, random alley ways, and shops. We walked through Ginza and eventually ended up at Tuskiji Fish Market.
Photo#3: Some where outside Tsukiji Market
We were there on a Sunday afternoon, which was still CRAZY crowded busy at the time. We had the most delicious fresh tuna at one of the many restaurants. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. We literary got swept away with the crowds at times.
Photo #4: Wagyu Beef for sale
We didn’t get to witness any fresh batches of Tuna that day as we came about 11 hours to early for that, but tasting it was good enough. We had ice cream, crockett, and some cheese pastry. There was a guy who was selling at the market who spoke to Macky and I in tagalog. We looked at him surprised because he was speaking Japanese a few seconds before he saw us.
See next post for continuation of Japan adventures....

Hello World! Here is the rest of our vacation in Portland Oregon! Pretty much at recommended spots this trip. Brunch box was an interesting place. They had peanut butter and jelly sandwich grilled. We also went to Voodoo doughnuts and pok pok, salt and straw ice cream, and a bunch of other random places. Arcade was a bar filled with classic arcade games and booze. We tried to visit multanomah falls but the roads were closed due to Icy conditions :(. But most importantly, the grandparents are doing just fine! :) I will definitely visit Oregon again!
Hello World!
Happy New Years to all! These photos here are from a recent trip I took to Portland Oregon. I went to go visit my boyfriend’s grand parents and apparently it it happened to be the same weekend that President Donald Trump was also inauguration day. We were supposed to go out and eat some of Portland’s famous eats from the pod restaurants, but those were all closed down due to the anti Trump parade that was happening a block from out hotel. So0oo.... we decided... why not take photos of the event since we couldn't do any thing anyways. Might as well be part of history. The most interesting parts of the parade were the signs that were present.

Hello World!

Hello World!
Here’s a photo of El Captian for you and the Merced River! I need to figure out how to get on the island in this photo so that way i can re create El Capitan’s famous popular shot. This will do for now.
Hello World!
Here’s a photo of Lembert Dome, Yosemite. We were on our way back home and took hwy 120 and stopped by a few “must see places”
Hello World!
I found some photos from my Eastern Sierra trip this past fall...I thought I was done, but obviously not :D. I have 3 more coming. This photo is a sunrise photo when we left Lake Convict. We were waiting for the sun to hit lake convict mountain, but the clouds that you see prevented that from happening, so I took photos of the culprit. :] Turned out a - ok.
